I believe Grixy thinks quicker and reacts faster than anyone else in the squad and proves it near each time he plays.As for Saturdays match was it just me but did our lads look to handle the conditions much better fitness wise than the other nationalities[sorry Catalans}?They looked absolutely cream crackered.

To be honest the conditions were ok on Saturday if we had had to play tonight where the temperature has been far higher and the sun was out later that would have been a real test of endurance but thankfully the points are in the bag and we did what we had to do.

poor quality game, but we dug out a well earned and hard earned win, not many teams go there and win, to do so in that heat and humidity was very pleasing, i also though Grix played well as did others, but it was a team victory rather than outstanding individual performances.

good turnout by the giants fans, although i suspect a few hotels in the costa brava were happy! you can't really tell by watching the game back on tv, but excellent vocally as well!

great weekend as always although the heat and humidity put most people to the sword, it must have been pushing 40 in Montpellier yesterday.

both teams were dead on their feet at the end, but yes i did think we looked the fitter side in the closing stages probably due the interchanges, i think catalans only had 2 subs at one point?

I understand that Grix's hands looked like he was passing backwards and that he always remained in front of the ball, but the ball did travel a mile forward.

I do have a bit of sympathy for Catalan because if it was the other way round, there would be plenty on here kicking up a real fuss.

However, we've had plenty of decisions go against us so it's nice to be on the other end!

Of course the ball travelled forwards- it usually does!
Just the same way you would travel forward through your windscreen if you hit a wall whilst not wearing a seatbelt- but it doesn't mean you had an ejector seat.
That pass was as good a pass as you will see a player make. It was whilst running at speed, looping over the top of the defence AND cut out. Spot on and never forward regardless of how far the ball looked to travel.

It's commonly said that the major issues some fans have with the refs calls is the fans don't actually know the rules
