How can we stop this great game being run by such a set of, shall we say, individuals?

due to kens uncertainty / paying the £175,000 to be part of it the league offered it to warrington due to them being the highest placed loser of the semi final
Giants had 1st refusal however chose not to partake

like i said, something needs to be said officially by the club about this... if its as simple as we didnt want to pay the money and compete then fair enough but would be nice to let the fans know how the hell things seemed to have changed!

I hope this is not true and just one of those forum rumours. I feel the club need to state if they had the opportunity to enter but turned it down or not?

Souths would murder us. Think positive - not participating means we don't have to watch a 60 point pumping from a team that's barely out of first gear...

No but we would most certainly get pumped!

from what i understand the 2 teams making up the numbers have to put up a bond of £175,000 for the oz coming over.as 3rd in the league you were offered it and turned it down,it then went to wire who snapped it up.cant blame the rfl.

Don't think anyone is blaming the RFL, more a case of accusing our club of lacking ambition for not stumping up the cash to play a glorified friendly !!.

Can't say personally i'm too bothered, i'm sure £175,000 will come in more useful in the long run !

did the club turn it down though?? would be nice to know, or did the rfl move the goal posts to suit them...

175k though... can get a very good player on a 2yr contract for that!
