| Why must anyone else be leaving? We don't have a squad of up to 30 for nothing! We are losing George and possibly Dawson and Blackmore - we need another winger!
As for grix at 9- disaster. Imagine him getting battered by the big guys!

Salford Red Devils RLFC.

I know I would rather have Broughton in my team over Murphy. He really is a classy player and I think he'll thrive at Huddersfield next season. He has everything the modern Super League player needs, with speed and strength being his obvious strong points.
Did any of you see his try (which was actually ruled out because one of our other players impeded a Widnes defender) at the magic weekend? It was sensational, that's what you can expect from Jodie.

| Yes i did, we were directly in line with it......Doubt he will shift Murphy TBH, Murphy is probably one of the 1st names on our teamsheet this season.

| I really like Broughton but can see his arrival causing some problems.
However, maybe Baloo has it clear in his mind.
Maybe he sees him as a replacement for Jerry - he's not been afraid to drop him this season. If thats the case, it's a like for like swap.
But if it's for the other wing, it puts question marks over either Grix or Murphy.
Now, as good as Grix is playing at the moment (and over the past couple of years) his form has been questioned at times this season. Many also think that Murphy is unproven at FB.
One things for sure, Baloo will do what's best for the FUTURE of the club and not pick people on reputation alone.
Preseason will sort it all out, but for me, I'd have Murphy at FB

| Does Jodie still hold the record for the longest ever try in super league versus the bulls, approx 110m?

Aiton is the more likely with Wakefield's unforunate financial troubles at the moment.
I can't see Lunt going anywhere as he has re-established himself as the first choice hooker in a team which is now starting to challenge for honours; I wouldn't be surprised to see him sign an improved deal in the off-season.

| Quote: jools "No chance Durham- Wardle is developing into a fantastic centre. Wardle over murphy for me.'"
Agreed, Wardle isn't just developing into a fantastic centre, he's a natural centre; not a winger or second rower that has been moved.
The combination of Wardle, Ferres and Brough down the left flank has been great to watch this season. Broughton would be an excellent addition to that side as he has pace to burn, backs himself and is evasive returning the ball; I just wouldn’t want to see Murphy lose his position as he has been one of the most consistent performers this season.
That said, in Paul Anderson we trust and nothing has been confirmed by the club yet.

| I cant see where Broughton would come into the team? Jerry and Murphy on the wings with Wardle and Leroy in the centres. The only way I can see him coming in is Grix leaving and Murphy to fullback

You are right, but when we signed Ferres, Murphy, Wardle and Chan I thought exactly the same. When watching games etc. most of us generally understand what the coaches are doing thinking etc. the better coaches sometimes surprise us. Paul Anderson is one of those coaches, so I will trust his judgement.

| Logic would suggest that, if Murphy was going to be 1st choice fullback next season, he would have played there tonight in place of Grix!
