| Gutted to see him go, one of my favourites, thought he'd have a big season for us this year with a bit more help up front. Don't know the exact reasons for him going, but I'm a tad p*ssed off with the lack of communication from the club, he's been a stalwart and a star in his time here and I for one thank him for his time here wearing the Claret and Gold jersey and playing a large part in what has been the clubs best years on the field since god knows when. Personally I think he deserves much better from the club, just a thank you for your services and best wishes for the future would be a start. Whatever he has/hasn't done shouldn't cloud his great service to the club and to see him leave like this is very sad and doesn't do anyone any good at all. The clubs P R leaves a lot to be desired, we handled the N Brown affair badly and this ain't exactly being handled any better. The clubs silence is deafening.
Good luck and all the best for the future Mase. Hope you're successful in whatever you do and wherever you go.
Thanks for the memories.

| Depends on how he's left and what he has done. The club might not be able to release information as yet, or possibly, releasing the information may hinder him signing for another club, so the silence might be a goodwill gesture.
Has Keith mentioned any reasons behind him leaving?

| If we rolled back a year, then this would be a bad a loss (after an outstanding 2011 season).
Events in Keith's life this year, some possible bad choices friends wise, and extra curriculum activities getting in front of Rugby on the pecking order, I feel I am possibly one of the few who thanks Mason for his good games, but wont miss his non-existent performances

No I agree,if we are going on form from last year versus reputation from previous years,it's fair to say Keith looked like he was ready for a new challenge away from the Giants.

if we were going on form last year and kept only those whose form was good we would be playing with Eorl and Brough and 15 other NEW players.

Hope he signs for Wakefield. He's still got a lot to offer a Super League Team and I think it was a mistake of Huddersfield to let him go.He's a good old fashioned prop and like Richard Agar said on a radio interview the other day a 'fine player'.
If he is still focused on his rugby league next season then he may prove that Huddersfield have made a mistake like Raleigh & Kirmond did last season. It'll come down to affordability though. We let Matt James go last week & our squad size has been reduced (from about 32/33 to about 28) I think to try & make space for someone like Mason.
