| will be a great signing for us - good pre season and could be pushing for 1st team, would say he would definitely be one of the fastest players in super league

Go on Cas Website and search in TigersTv for "9's"
There are 2 videos on there from Bradford & Fev. Where Greg was the stand out player, Certainly showed some skills. That with the right coaching, You lot will get to enjoy for years to come.
Just give him a chance at Full back. I am sure it will prove a good signing

| with 2 years of a contract left to be paid to him?? maybe 2 much competition for places in the backs, (not as much as our 2nd row though!!) if the eden and george signings are both confirmed.
Grix/Eden
Jerry/Simpson
Wardle/Lawrence
Cudjoe/Gilmour
George

| Thats a big if for someone who only played a handful of games when over there, and not set the game alight over here. I'd agree with you it would be best all round though, just dont think its very likely

| I think people have expected far too much of Simpson, combine that with only a handful of starts I find it strange that so many have made a final judgement on him.
I saw enough at Leeds to be confident that given a pre-season under Nathan Brown he could be a good player.
There is a reason Nathan Brown signed him, I just think we are yet to really see it.

| I thought it looked more like a Thewlis signing ala Korkidas and Finnigan, than a Nathan Brown signing to be honest. My opinion is that if we sign from down under they should be Origin or International quality. We have plenty of British 'Simpson' quality players on the books. Nothing against the lad, but he is not of the quality we need in the backs.

Griffin to Leeds ( not sure whats going on with this )
Kirmond to Cas ( Rumour on Cas Boards )
Raleigh to Hull KR ( Rumour )
Possible Ins:
Greg Eden ( Likely )
Luke George ( Likely )
Chris Heighington ( would love to see him at Giants it but i doubt we could afford him )

| Where does the Heighington rumour come from. Apart from the fact he is a good player and has a British passport i have not seen any link and as far as i know he has just extended his contract at Wests.
If Hodgson leaves and George comes in that leaves us in the same position as this year for senior backs. Eden would be more of a project player who would not be considered first team initially. It may also be the case that Lawrence is used more in the forwards next season.

| I really don't see us having much money spare for big overseas signings, personally. Hopefully in the next 3 or 4 years we're going to see more and more young home grown lads push through and long term this is surely the best way to go as the NRL cap increases which in turn will help them retain their best players.
