I do believe this had a great impact on selling the shirts quickly, it was an excellent offer and people who took the offer up will have got themselves a bargain.

I personally didn't, as sad as it sounds, I like to keep the old shirts as memorabilia. They have a sentimental value attached to that particular season, that said, last seasons would have been quite easily swapped if I hadn't thought it was such a daring and innovative design.

I did go to buy my shirt in March, after I'd seen the shirt in the flesh and realised I liked it; as the pictures in the examiner really didn't do it justice. And so follows the thread we're on and people are getting bent out of shape about.

Who has waited two-thirds of the way through the season to try buy a shirt? Not me! I was there in March: When they sold out.

I got mine in December!

I got mine in February. Got in quickly because I knew they'd be in short supply with so few season ticket sales - especially if the infield performance was improved after 2012.

My opinion on this is that the club probably expected to have loads left like in the past so didnt order as many - unfortunately this year they managed to produce a half decent replica shirt (in look not quality) and more people decided to buy it compared to the monstrosities in the last few years, therefore leading to the m selling out quickly, not expecting to need to restock either.

TBH if i had an endless pit of money and didnt care about quality i would have probably bought one myself this year which would have been the 1st one since 2008 for me !

you cant paint it up whichever way you want but to not have a home adult replica shirt for sale in the shop is a joke.

So you support the idea of overstocking them and thus having loads left at the end of the season?

My own opinion is that we DON'T need two new shirts every year and then stock management of shirts would be a lot easier.

The club had the fantastic offer this year and thus sold way more than anticipated.

I went to a restaurant last week and ordered the tbone steak. They had run out and I was told to choose something else. No discount, no ruckus, just had a different item and enjoyed it.

maybe a change of supplier is the answer or a new staff member who knows what he/shes doing.

ISC are better than kooga i think.

I saw that a few months ago but I'm not so sure (think that might be a little exaggerated by the club). Still rather pay 90 quid because the money goes to the club. I bet the rags that Kooga churn out cost barely a tenner to produce. The biggest expense will be the embroidery.

I think if the demand was there they would'nt cost that but I doubt the demand is there seeing as people wont even turn up to watch games never mind spend 90 quid on a shirt.

I think the club should have a better feel for what is selling and what customers are demanding, if they did they'd get a better idea of sale volumes, instead we see delayed marketing of the product and then a excellent push for sales on a back of some excellent marketing with the joined up approach of helping the needy (PNG shirt offer), but a lack of forethought on stock requirements.

They probably came on here and saw all the moaning and thought well same poor sales again this year....

There is a new, Large away shirt on EBay for £40 plus delivery if you are quick.
