Indeed, all the good riddance/eff off Kopczak really means they wanted so badly for him to stay.
Kopczak of all people now modelling the Fartown retro jersey as well

| Quote: ShelleyGiant "Me too, what a sad, pathetic lot the Dulls are, talk about sour grapes. If they'd paid his wages on a regular basis he might have stayed. They didn't and he wasn't too happy (who can blame him) so he chose to not sign a new contract and seek employment elsewhere. Neither he nor Fartown have done anything wrong as far as I can see so why all the tears and bitterness from the "hard done by" Dulls fans. Think they should all get a grip, get over it, move on and stop whingeing, we owe you naff all.'"
He was paid without fail and if he was free to leave the club and you did nothing wrong then I wonder why you paid a fee.

I personally think he's a decent player and we will miss him, unless of course the two props we are about to announce are better.
To be fair a lot of our fans classed him as a fat waste of space when he played for us, so I wouldn't read too much into their comments.

Watched him closely when you kicked ass at ours late on last season cos of the rumour about him to us.Definitely though Kopczak is very much more than a head down bum up forrad, he's atheltic when he gets some space, very quick ptb for a big man.
Sorry but he's a great signing for us,you need to look closer to home as to why he so badly wanted out.Anyway no worries now you have a sugar daddy of your own.

Would OK & Sooty have got out of the forum alive if they said they didn't pay a fee?

He was paid without fail....by the RFL because the club couldnt pay its own wages.
Who is the fee being paid to? The long list of creditors of the old company who are all owed money by the former boards failure to balance books?
I believe paying a fee is totally unrelated to any sanction imposed for 'tapping up' - you can easily find quotes in the press saying the Giants are cleared of any wrongdoing - but please don't the truth get in the way of your bile.

No need to apologise, I have already said I rate him as a player and I'm sure he will do well for you. I have certainly never heard Craig described as athletic however.

Yes, no one expected a fee, why would you have to pay a fee for a player who was free to leave.

Can anyone on here actually reply to a post in a civil manner?
I said he was paid on time in reply to comment saying he hadn't been paid, I never mentioned where the funds came from, I am however well aware of the situation.
Bile? It was a simple question really, I couldn't care less whether Giants 'tapped him up' or not, he wanted to leave so it was for the best. I am just confused, as I said, if he was free to leave why did Giants pay a fee for him.

| We did pay his wages.
You have paid us a fee.
He is 26 in December, and won't improve very much from now on.
Also, you ought to remember that he left us on the eve of our last game of the season, without telling his team mates, when we still had a chance of making the 8 (would have already been there it weren't for the points deduction). We don't need his kind at Odsal.

You talk a complete utter load of bull. His agent asked twice to discuss a new contract bulls said no. Mick potter told him to find alternative employment. You gave 48 hours to decide on his future he happened to open the envelope Bateman never. Potter dropped burgess why going into the last game? Kopczak had already told potter he was still injured going into the last game as the consultant had never signed him off as bulls never paid the bill. He played two games going into the Catalan game injured for Mick end off. How do I know because I am an insider. Now jog on and get yourself on the turnstiles next year we need muppets like you.
