| Ryan Brierly would be handy with the loss of Robbo and a decent aussie 2nd rower

| Always thought foster to be average at best from what I've seen of him, but then again I didn't think Ellis was a great signing, but look how that's working out. If foster can step up to the plate then its good for everyone.
las for another signing I'm hoping it's someone of a better track record, but its not the end of the season just yet.

| The LE says we are sniffing round Brierly with Anderson denying it would be surprising if it was true. Like he's says we need a second rower and wing/centre. Read somewhere we are close to signing a present SL player from someone. We do have the space as foster will be cheap and if Kevin penny can turn it around then so can foster.

| Saints fan here.
He was a classy finisher and his goal kicking was bang on. There was the feeling amongst the Saints speccies though, myself included, that he was much to focused on his business/es and not on improving as a player. He started to make defensive mistakes and dropping a few high balls.
Maybe he's got his head screwed on now and wants a second chance to redeem his career, after all he was only a young lad at Saints. Anderson will find out with him soon enough, but he'll be cheap cover on the cap for you at worst, like Dawson for us.

| this is a TRIAL and if he impresses then will get a deal and we cant complain about that
the other naughton is a LOAN
so the money we have to make a permanent signing is still there for the right player (a second rower)

After he left Bradford he went to Hull Rugby Union who play in the same division at Laund Hill YMCA.

| went ok on debut, would have liked to see him take the ball in abit more to take workload off the forwards
unlucky with the wigan try, looked to be a knock on from them jumping up

| Did ok, good finish and a couple of big hits in defence too...if he's willing to work hard and put the effort in he could be a decent addition to the squad.

| I thought he turned away at the last minute on that high ball, should have done better really but under pressure I suppose, took his try well, great tackle first half shooting out of line and would like to see him kick if he stays as its the best part of his game. I'm not sure Wigan know left from right as everything seemed to go to jerry and Leroy at times and not to the new guys, no brainer for me that. Id stick with murph at the back though solid hands and return, sometimes wasted on the wing, there's more to his game.
