| Next season the Grix may well be at Halifax but why would he leave before when he is under contract on number one full back.

| if he was to lose his place as the number 1 then i could see him going early.

| There is no way he would go unless we had someone coming in.
Our squad is tiny as it is.
As for Escare great attacker crap defender.
We need a centre backrower more urgently

And who will he lose the number 1 shirt to? Going by Simpsons last two showings he ain't ready so it won't be him! And if he did lose the shirt to Simpson Grix leaving would leave us with no back up, we are already stretched at wing/fullback.

| I would quite like Mitchell Pearce . He would be a great signing.
Like Todd Carney but without the injuries.
Plus having a pedigree of signing a dog bothering player worked out OK for wire

| Mitchell Pearce would be a waste of money- not because he's not a good player but because we have a number of halfbacks on long term contracts....

| i honestly don't see the fuss over Brierley, he looks good when he is on the run in open field, but as for an organiser? i'm not sure he's all that tbh.

He does not have to be an organiser. That is what Brough does. Brierley does though have a very different skill set, his running and off the cufff play is what will complement the half back that we have.
We do have a real lack of pace in the team particularly in the halves.
It does not matter he wont be coming here.

| Apparently Brierley has confirmed he is able to leave Leigh if he wants too and on some forums is being linked with Huddersfield as well as Hull. I have no idea if there is any truth in any of this but Hey ho.
My opinion on Brierley is ,he is a player in the Myler sort of style, more of a backing up, flair type of player, I would say if N Brown had still been our coach he would have been a very worthwhile risk, Browns real talent was with individual players, I think if Brierley does get to a better club he has every chance to be a top player.
I quite like a player with a bit off the cuff stuff, but it's not a route the Giants are known to go down, Any off the cuff stuff we see has to come from Brough and he is generally very well marked, The first requirement for Flair is a fair bit of pace and we are not very well endowed there, but as our recent record shows it's not essential.
Another Rumour I picked up, and it is just a rumour, was Rowley to Fax, Marshall to Giants.
I'm a bit surprised at the previous poster claiming Brierley is not super league level, I have to admit I haven't seen him play in Super league, and have only seen him on TV but Leigh had some very good wins last season against top opposition and he looked very good to me.
