| Funny that - a lad I teach who has a giants U16 scholarship mentioned to me today we were in for fielden and had offered two years! I've also heard that Leeds have offered Lunt a contract to stay but have offered quite a bit LESS than he's on at giants.
If he can stay fit fielden alongside eorl charging up the middle is a mouthwatering prospect. Mason, Patrick (fully fit) and kopczak to come off the bench- hell yes.
Heath, robbo and fooey hooking choices- sounds good to me.
Gale would be great alongside brough.
If these come off we are in for a season!

| sorry people.. Heath has just been asked on twitter if he's with you next year.. to which he replied `thats a negative mate` - Doesnt look like he is.
I'm unsure whether Gale would be either. He's still contracted to Bradford, Has said he's looking forward to 2013 at Odsal & The Kopckaz decision is still in the hands of the RFL.

| Would prefer fooey and robbo as hookers to lestrange. Wouldn't play Bruno on the wing neither,as i think he brings more playing elsewhere. I've liked him at loose- great for plugging defensive gaps, has a bit of pace for finding the gaps and safe hands. I Wouldn't miss chan off that list neither!

| Fielden would be interesting if fit.. Not convinced Gale is an upgrade over Grix, similar defensive weakness in the line Grix is a better runner Gale has a nice no eyes pass. Slightly different players neither significantly better than the other.
L'estrange? Please no, one of the poorer hookers in super league.
I hear Kopczak told RFL that he was not happy about treatment of employees during Bradford admin and jjust wanted out, was confident there would be offers elsewhere. Enquiry over delay is about RFL saving face as they sold OK a pup

| If Fielden has a good pre season and shows some form he will be an excellent signing. An experienced prop who should be fresh after having 2 years off and has done everything in the game and is aggressive.
Crabtree
Kopczak
Mason
Fielden
Mullally
This probably allows Larne Patrick to move to the 2nd row.
Adding Ukuama Ta'ai in there with O Donnell in the 2nd Row too we are going to have a huge aggressive pack next year.
Starting team of:
1. Eden
2. Mcgilvarry
3. Cudjoe
4. Wardle
5. George
6. New Signing?
7. Brough
8. Crabtree
9. Robinson
10. Kopczak
11. O Donnell
12. Lawrence
13. Ferres
Fielden
Mason
Chan
Faiumu
Ta'ai
Patrick
Mullally
Fairbank
Ferguson
Murphy
Lawrence
Molloy
Cording
Find it really hard to see where Ferguson fits into the squad anymore

| A fit and injury free Fielden would be a great quality signing and would certainly beef up our forward power.
Kopczak would certainly be a great addition to the team and add some badly needed biff up front.
Not too bothered about Gale, is he going to improve us ? is he any better than Grix ? If our forwards are performing then I don't see any reason why one of this seasons main scapegoats can't discover his form and show his class behind a dominant pack. The first half of the season he was "buzzing" and was a key player, is it any surprise his performances dipped when our forwards started getting "mullered" and the whole of our team and our season imploded.
As for L'estrange, no thanks rather Lunt came back, failing that from what I've seen of him at 9 young Joel Farrell looks a good prospect, and if that's going to be his playing position then give him a chance to break through.
We'd all like world class signings but, if the new faces don't bring anything significantly better to the team then why throw money down the drain.

For the hooker role, whats the situation with Daryl Clarke at Cas remember he put in a transfer request mid season but don't know what happened after that, would be a quality signing for any club (though perhaps out of our price range as a transfer fee would apply).

| clark had his transfer request turned down by cas - not surprising seeing as hed signed a 5 year deal less than a year previous, I mean what club in its right mind would allow that..... oh wait..............

| Credit where it's due, if a player doesnt want to play for the club, they're pretty much shipped out or somethings arranged for them to leave. Why keep anyone who doesn't want to play for you?

| Quote: nathaniel999 "A link has popped up on facebook with giants signing new players.
It says that Stuart Fielden has signed on a 2 year contract
It says Craig Kopczak is more or less signed
Also says that Heath L'estrange and Luke gale are in advanced talks with us
What we all think to these?
Personally Fielden is a gamble but if he stays fit then its a goo signing.
Kopczak will be a good signing
Gale is perfect in partnering brough in the halves and its something we all want
L'estrange is a good player but this will mean lunt is staying at Leeds surely.
So what we all think to these signings?'"
think its garbage... apart form the kopczak deal.
