It was a shock when he had gone to Wigan but I am sure the majority understood why he would want to play for them and wished him well.

For me he is a good pack player. At loose he has freedom to run some decent lines all over the park. He tackles well, is a physical player that doesn't really lose his head as similar style players do. Glad he is back and imo is a plus in our team

like ive said before its not after 1 game this knocking on issue he has, been going on for seasons and i was hoping it would have got better with a season at wigan but it hasnt on what ive seen so far.

where he has improved is he can play more minutes now than before.

hope he can get back to the clean breaks he used to do a few seasons back

I despair sometimes

You'd normally expect it spread over a season, but after 1 game it is mind boggling.

someone should point out that we might have a few more defeats coming our way if we carry on losing our best and more experienced players.
mind you a lot of folk got some experience in last year so are bang ready for it this.

I wouldn't mind but Patrick doesn't drop the ball anymore than anyone else (and significantly less than some I could name).

Besides perhaps if some of our players threw their passes a little softer, especially near the defensive line, we might not drop quite as many.

Bit of deja-vu going on here!
At least last season all the negative vibes started and came to a head after the 1st 3 losses/games!
We've had a bit of bad luck injury wise which has exposed an obvious lack of depth in the squad and we lost away against a decent Saints side in monsoon conditions - 1 game into the fixture list - not exactly grounds for writing off the season yet, is it?!
Let's be half full - not empty!!
Regarding Larne - as previously pointed out ... so what if he's putting himself in the shop-window so long as we benefit from it, even if it's in the short-term. Personally I thought he had a decent game despite dropping a few clangers, but who was immune from that considering the lousy conditions!?
