The club did what it did, and it's something all clubs have done at one time or another I'm sure. This time we just got a judge that decided against us (many others have decided twitter and Facebook accounts being public count in this sort of thing)

The RFL may fine or censure the club, and the club will have to deal with that

What we need to so is move on and support the team on the field, constantly chipping in to this thread will do not a shred of good.

And, fwiw, no one beyond this forum or the bulls forum knows or cares about this situation.

Just seen the latest interview from sutcliffe and he's still banging on about the sky money- yes it's harsh on Bradford but you know what they are bleedin lucky they didn't find themselves in the championship alongside crusaders. This thing has nothing to do with kopzcak any more and from what I've heard it appears bradfords recruitment strategy isn't entirely squeaky clean at junior level. - it's all about the money which it appears they are still desperate for. Their crowds have gone down also this season (funny sky isn't banging on about that) and they are clearly worried that the championship is where they could end up when P and R is reinstated.

Im damn sure Mr Davy would do the same being 1.2m out of pocket with sky money over two years! especially spending 99.3% of your salary cap! Idiotic comment and its not hard to see why we are desperate for money is it? And its not our fault the morons running your club think its ok to agree a deal with a player 18 months before his deal is up and think there will be no repercussions! You will find yourself in the same boat when uncle Ken finishes with the dross he has working for him left running the club!

Love me - you Bradford bulls are so single eyed. You knew the score - either championship or lose sky money! That was the "price" of getting a license to stay in suoerleague. That was the deal, tough luck... And you're calling those running our club dross- if it wasn't your dross taking a champion side and running it into the ground within the space of a few years we wouldn't be having this discussion.
Lets hope that all those players who have been tapped up over the years come forward- and all clubs can be fined for each one- im willing bet we'd be paying out less in fines than yourselves.

Kopczak wasn't "tapped up", there was a Gentleman's agreement in place to help Bradford reach the end of the season, Gentleman's agreements are not enforceable. Loads of Bradford players spoke to other clubs as they were entitled to the moment Bradford became insolvent.

As part of the steps to help Bradford the RFL paid players wages, there was also the shenanigans of the purchase of the "iconic stadium". Having been given all these handouts the other 13 clubs quite rightly are entitled to similar handouts. Actually the small 1/13 share of £ 600k for two seasons is much less help than Bradford got, but all clubs agreed this, including OK Bulls.

Surely any further payment would go to the debtors of the previous ltd company as Kopzcak was never employed by the OKBulls?

yes, we also already gave them money from the gate we got when we played them at home last season, short memories

I don't think that money went directly to the Bulls, it went to a hardship fund of the employees of the Bradford Bulls in order to pay wages etc prior to the formation of the OK Bulls.

all this 'unfairness' from that lot is quite amusing really when you consider the thumpings they used to give us and other teams and all the trophies they cheered their heroes onto during their pomp, done by star players paid for by money that should have being going to their creditors/local businesses who were owed money by them...funny how THAT was fair but what's happened to them since isn't ...the words Sow,Reap You and What come to mind !!!

It's laughable how everything they have done over the years and last season is ok but we should be hung, drawn and quartered for taking on a player who's club had folded due to administration.

The RFL bailed em out and kept em in SL but they are now the big bad wolf for stopping their sky money.

seeing as we've had to fork out all that money on the Mason case any chance you lot can donate 40% gate receipts to us too as we are really hard-up this year cos we didnt play by the rules and ended up in the Poo-poo for it, hmmm that sounds familiar
