| Quote: Gi4nts "Nope his contract was with the previous regime, complete new club now
As at as I am aware, otherwise all these creditors will be getting paid out wont they?
Was the previous lot that got the SL licence so again come season end the new Bulls may find themselves playing lower league footie!!'"
They won't. I think there is a will throughout RL that want's Bulls to stay up and outside West Yorkshire I can not see a club or many supporters who would want them removed from SL.
There is no obvious replacement club who could come up and compete and a 13 club league will be a no go for sure.
For better or worse I think they will get a licence for the next two years.

| Quote: Roofaldo "Irrelevant because at this moment Bradford are still a SL club.
And what Bradford got done for regarding Harris was inducing him to break a contract. Which, it may yet be argued, Huddersfield might have done with Kopczak.'"
Nothing to do with the Huddersfield Giants.
If an employee doesnt agree to be TUPEd they in effect resign. Thats the risk of Administration and when buying a company where its assets are its employees.

In most cases it is players wanting to stay on with big contracts that causes the problem at clubs like Portsmouth not sure there have been many cases like this in professional sport and in "normal" administrations doubt many people would want to keep any employee who wanted out.

Don't think Halifax or Fev would agree with you to be fair. The Bulls have conned the RFL with regards to licensing and should go. End of!!!

| Can't believe the bulls fans still think they're being hard done to by the rfl and now you. In honesty they should have been punished even further a this season the salary cap was a live one so they have been breaking the cap by spending beyond their means. Rather than being forced to cut their cloth accordingly in the way Salford (smith to Wigan) and Cas (ferres to you and trying to sell chase) the rfl have actually paid them to out of their own money to break the rules that they set up! The whole situation is a complete farce and makes the game look like a complete joke.

| Very upsetting times at the moment... high emotion i would suggest is the reason for all the finger pointing!
In fairness, i believe the only reason you have stuck the blame for Koppie is basically because you were named in the T&A article and the thread on hear discussing deals for Koppie and Gale... Not enough evidence for me to jump in head first!
All this bad blood is not good in my opinion and i dont get involved... as far as i can work out Koppie recieved a letter saying his contract was TUPEd over as of the 31st Aug! He has given notice that he objects so he is free to leave... seems to be the top and bottom of it!
On a side note hopefully this means the majority of our key players have accepted a to be TUPEd and now we can get on with earning our own way!
Koppie has looked after number 1, cant blame him at all in that! I just think it could have been timed better for his hometown club is all!
Ok we have recieved a lot of help from the RFL, but i for one hope we can move away from that and mkae our own way! I am a proud bulls fan because of my players and their attitude this season... the debacle has been very very bad!

| See, this is the kind of thing that makes me and a lot of our fans have bad feelings towards that lot......this isn't the 1st time their fans have jumped in head 1st presuming our club are at fault or are involved in something they then round shouting their big gobs off accusing our club/chariman/board/fans of doing or not doing something - this has been going on since the day we arrived in SL and its cos of these people i have no time or sympathy for anything to do with Bradford Bulls.

The thing is you are tarring all Bulls fans with the same brush. You are right in that we have fans that could not find their own rear end with both hands - and needless to say they are the ones with the big gobs. Think my gran used to say something about empty vessels making most noise. Similarly we have quite a few visits by gobby Giants, but what should be remembered is that these people that cannot see the difference between banter and fact. I think when you read all the posts about Koppy you will see that most are pi55ed off with the way he has done things. Most people think that he is right to look after himself and his family in the long run. However, to walk out on the club two days before the last match without having the decency to either tell the manager or his teammates himself shows a lack of respect. He could have played in the match and then resigned afterwards with no problems.

sorry, but thats Bradford's problem not ours .......the player has chose to do what he has done for his reasons not the Giants, its only rumour that suggests we have signed him, no one knows for sure what or if anything has gone on regarding us and the player....so for Bulls fans to lay into our chairman and club - AGAIN, without any proof is in my eyes very disrespectful, someone called our club 'scum' and a disgrace.
I realise things are a bit tender over at Odsal but to take it out on other clubs and other chairmen is frankly laughable !

| Kopczak had to resign as he was only given 48 hours to decide his future. If he had played it would have been deemed that he was accepting the TUPE. Why send out letters in the last week of the season? Why was it not done after the game? Looks to me like his team mates are not as smart or they are on big bucks and are sat waiting like the fat cats did at Portsmouth FC.
