You are cordially invited to join the RFL Crowd Watchers Association. This is an organisation for people who purport to be rugby fans but actually like to look at the attendance. There will be regular meetings and the chance to purchase special merchandise.

Meetings will always begin in the same way. Those in attendance will spend the first part of the meeting counting the people in the room. This is followed by a session where those in attendance make disparaging and infantile comments about those who have not attended. At the end of the meeting there is little or no discussion of the content of the meeting. Instead there is continued repetition of the comments made at the start.

RFLCWA has always sought to be innovative. This year we will introduce:
‘The wing mirror’ – our members have sometimes been unfairly castigated for facing the crowd rather than the game [how else can we count them?!. This new product allows you to ostensibly face the game. However it is discrete and highly manoeuvrable and enables you to count people behind you.
‘The Mappy’ – our members like to count every last person attending a game and the sheer excitement of noticing who is AND isn’t attending can leads to some people ‘having an accident’. The Mappy [:2erff5tsMa:2erff5tsn Na:2erff5tsppy is the discrete way for Crowd Watchers to deal will all their involuntary emissions. Later in the season we will introduce the Woppy for women if there is sufficient demand (most women seem to watch the rugby!) and Mappys with club logos will be available from 2012.

How much were the Bulls given in their allocation?

Personally, I think its great that they're potentially bringing a big following over as it can only add to the matchday experience. There is more chance of generating an atmosphere if there are two strong sets of followings to aim chants/songs at.

I'm bringing a friend to a RL match for the first time and would love it if both fans could engage in a banter and add a fine atmosphere to what should be a great derby match.

They're massive really massive the Manchester United of super league. The bulls will be there in the thousands where as we'll fill the stands with a couple of old blokes, a whippet and a hand full of kids we've bribed to come from the local orphanage!!!!

Will the Luke Robinson fan club be there on sunday? Don't mean to sound harsh but his sister looks like desperate dan from the dandy.

To be fair though i would be more worried if we used to take many thousands to away games only to see it drop to a few hundred.
Our away support has always been bad so it cant really be compared to that of a team who has won everything over again in the last 15 years !!

i heard they only asked for 500 too - but well done on selling out !!...imagine what they're away following would be if they actually won something ............oh hang on been there done that

Were there 6,000 from the Bulls and only 3,400 from us as they are the best supported team in the whole of Yorkshire and travel by there thousands week in week out.
Well I'd just like to thank the Bulls fans for turning up and putting money into our coffers. Can they just let me know when the Bulls team is going to turn up at the Galpharm as they've not turned up yet!!!!!
