Why should it cost them unnecessarily? maybe -given it was the week after a busy Easter weekend the decision was made to allow players time to have lunch with their families! If it was a game in Lancashire it's still different- they wouldn't be making an unnecessary journey! Whatever the reason it isnt a reason for our table position!!!
Bad egg????? Oh joy- more rumours ........
This happens all the time, other clubs do it - no big deal.'"
I can only assume you are being obtuse.
On another thread you are arguing how team spirit has been affected by the ferres debacle.
If that is the case then re building that team spirit should be a priority.
At least the coach should show he is a bit more motivated and get to Huddersfield to meet the majority of the players.
In situations like this you need to be building team spirit and bonding.
Of course this is not the reason we are in the league position but it does illustrate that there potentially is an issue.
As a manger you need to employ man management at all times to kepp the team motivated.
Different aproaches all the time.
It is very easy for a team to switch off from a manger who says and does the same thging all the time. It is a bit like a parent who shouts at their child all the time it will work and then they will be motivated but then it wears off.
If it is somethging the players have done for a long time then trying something different might be an idea.
If the players see it as a rewrd changing it so they know that things are changing if they are not performing is a good idea.
I have seen nothing about Anderson to suggest he has different motivational skills.
If he presents to the players as he does to the press then that cannot be good.
Either he tries something new or someone else comes and tries something new because what we have is not working.
And other than you Believers most fans dont see anything positive likely to happen.
