| I'll second the shout for best fans that have been to craven park.
Typical easter Monday game. Our kick defence was far better than yours which was the difference.
Good luck rest of the year.

| Gotta agree with posts about the fans, great support and very loud throughout the match, best away fans for ages at our place..although i did get a bit sick of hearing Depeche Mode on the trumpet at around the 6th time!!
The game was as i expected to be honest,a tight scrappy match where both teams are off the pace thanks to the Easter schedule.Couldnt have complained if the result had gone Hudds way, altough if Mantellato had had his normal kicking accuracy it wouldnt have been as nervy at the end! Good luck for rest of the season.

apart from a few numpties in the "family" section(what's new?) along with the fox mascot's behaviour!! trying to cause trouble, most of the rovers fans were friendly enough but not many of them seemed to care too much that people had come to their ground.
as for the match, well i may sound bitter but i'm not, we deserved nothing from that game, but i thought rovers got every single decision going for them, at least 2 tries looked dodgy, and some laughable decisions from our friend mr bentham, and some truly terrible playacting by the rovers players.
we just can't seem to do the basics right, our attacking structures were non existant, our handlng was atrocious, our discipline is a worry, i say that because we were absolutely slaughtered by bentham today, i thought child's performance on friday was bad, but he took it to another level today! i believe the penalty count was 13-2 , were rovers really that clean? or did he choose to just penalise one team? i'll let the people who were there decide that.
and has been said already, the fans were pretty good again, just a massive shame we still can't replicate this at home, rovers support was a shadow of its former self, didn't hear a peep out of them until they were 20-12 up!
i'm a tad frustrated tonight!, as despite being 2nd best we were only a score away from winning, but we chose to throw silly passes and didn't bother catching the ones which were good!

that's our away support, a complete different animal to our home support.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I thought you brought about six hundred, that's pretty decent and you were loud and created an atmosphere.

I believe the penalty count was 13-2
I just can't see how Bentham thought that possible.
From minute fifty to sixty five your discipline was pretty horrible, but no way should have been on the end of that penalty count.

| according to super league website,
penalty count was 10-2, i had it at 12/13-2 at the game
other than that, it seems we weren't that bad, apart from missed tackles, 36 from us with Ellis leading the way with 6, rovers made 22, only Eorl and Bruno didn't miss any.
apparently we both made 12 errors!, can't get my head around that!
they made 1 more metre than us , maybe the difference was the kicking? they made 16 attacking kicks spread out over 6 players, we made 12, with only brough (11) and robbo with 1, seems they shared the workload better

| think the difference was quite simply the territory. Like the Salford game we spent far too much time in our own half. 12 penalties against is bound to get them further up the field.

| Same problem of gifiting the opposition the ball and where we make our errors...we must have turned possession over at least 6 times in our half, can't recall them doing that !.

| Just a little side note to the mascot behaviour, i've received an email from the General Manager of Hull KR who has stated that the mascot is from one of their sponsors and having had complaints before and now have strictly forbidden the company involved to use the same person again, He is looking into the incident.
Might seem a tad pedantic by our fans but this was in an are where kids were and not the sort of thing they'd expect to see from a cuddly, friendly mascot (in their eyes).

| Didn't see foxgate as I was in the east stand but sounds like it needs stamping out and the person responsible banning. As to the game I thought both sides looked knackered and the game suffered. Rovers got the run of the green with decisions although not convinced taia got the ball down. The fans you brought were great and made plenty of noise. I reckon you'll still be right up there at the end of the season

7063.jpg "They supercede individuals, they supercede the team and they supercede the club. Our club is a traditional, working class club and the supporters are loyal and passionate and to see them go away happy really makes my day." Craig Sandercock.:7063.jpg |

| Brilliant support from the Fartowners, Came loud and came in numbers.
Our own supporters where very subdued but after the atmosphere we made on Thursday and the ongoing weekend celebrations I'm guessing more then a few fans where suffering from hangovers and sore voices.
