Silverwood is a spineless piece of sh*t and should be nowhere refereeing at the top level.

Frankly, I'd like an inquiry into why he failed to penalise so many blatant offences in favour of the home team.

Did he fail to see them? In which case you must question the mental capacity of Richard silverwood, to be unable to process such obvious happenings.

I'd also love to see stats on penalty counts when the top 4 face off. I bet it favours the home team every single time.

On more than one occasion your lot had our lot under the chin pulling us backwards. You had Riley in the position on at least 3 different occasions and no penalty was given.

How loud did the warrington fans bellow though?

If you'd bellowed louder that worthless pr*ck would have probably penalised them.

I rarely criticise referees as they do a thankless job, but for once I have to agree with Eddie; the refereeing was absolutely appalling. There was 14 Wolves playing 13 Giants, and coupled with Ferres' penalties, Huddersfield was never going win.



Bad luck guys, but you still have a great side.

FFS! Just got back from the game and can't believe the crap on here. Great game and the better team on the night won. Simple.
Silverwood was no better or worse than any referee this season. They are all poor. Good teams find a way to overcome it.

Me too just got back, great game, gutted we lost, good luck to Wire in the final. I was really pleased with the lads tonight, thought we may just do it when we closed the gap to 2 points, but Briers magic in the end did us.

I think we've had a great season, and I can see more semi's and maybe final coming our way in the next few years, anyone up for 2014, 100 years since the Team of all talents won the job lot, if we can get a big prop to go with Larne and Taai we may not lose the momentum we get from Eorl and Koppy.

Grow up lads, thought the officials were pretty inconspicuous tonight, the way the should be. For people moaning about the Morley hit...it was legit. At too many people listen to the muppet commentators instead o using their eyes. Good game all round, thought you were gonna sneak it in the end, but just fell short. In other words, Crabtree is still poo.

That might be because they dont get the close up view on detail that TV provides.
If Giant fans that went think that the better side won then that's very magnanimous, it probably did.
It matters not now what anyone thinks.
I think the ref took the game away from Huddersfield owing to crowd pressure,but at the same time Huddersfield were their own worst enemy.
If players can't see the link between their actions in terms of penalties and tries conceded then they are over zealous or stupid.
