He's superb. Should have been give a sniff at first team this year with Leeds, and they would never have lost him.
Will be a fantastic player in the future, just needs first team chances to prove it.
Equally good at back row as looseforward, and big enough to cement a spot there. |

It doesn't mean Fairbank is out and the number of academy lads progressing to the first team suggests the academy isn't the complete failure some try to infer. A bit of competition never hurt anyone and if the opportunity comes to get a decent young prospect then why not sign him.

Let's hope that's all it is cos he was totally overrated by a lot of our fans and I was quite happy to see him go. Too slow for SL but I wish him all the best wherever he plays.

Joseph is a decent grafter but not SL standard IMHO.
I'm not too sure about Brown at 13 either. If that's going to happen what have we signed Carvill for? Carvill left Leeds for first team rugby after all. And I'm not sure Brough/Grix is any better than Brough/Brown.
