That was Leroy, and Thorman just didn't have a clue where it was, he was lucky with the decision for the first 'up and under' the touch judge giving him the call - as DG says I'm not sure about that one.
Thought we gave away too many penalties and our handling was not the best tonight, however you just can not argue with the defence, truly brilliant.
There was one move which would have been try of the season had Leroy held on (second one he dropped), although it was low down below the knee and he as at full pelt. The move was obviousy something from the training field and must of involved 7/8 players running at angles the Hull defence didn't know what was happening.
I'm absolutely delighted, we rested a few too and can't wait for next weekend.

Watching it from behind the sticks you really appreciate the runs, it looks impossible to stop, had Leroy held on we would have scored with it tonight too.

I think just before that move, Jammer had a real chance of scoring and he passed to Leroy but he should of went over IMO.

You have a point but probably thought Leroy was in a better position, which he was, the pass was not the best unfortunately.
I knew we'd beaten them when we scored the 3rd, as Bruno ran in the try he was allowed to run along the back of the sticks with 2 Hull players just stood watching him instead of closing him down, they were done from that point onwards, heads gone.

| BTW I felt sorry for Thorman as he made a mess of the play for the last try, he was just squatting down as Brett was preparing for the conversion.
The rest of the Hull players trying to encourage him, our lot giving a full chorus of Thorman is a Giant.
The lad must be at an all time low in his career.

| Watching from behind you really do get to appreciate some of the dummies players sell to opponents.
In the first half Faiumu danced round an FC player which looked impossible from where we were. the slight of hand that lead to Lunts try - who else wondered where the ball was?

| Again, i thought we didnt really hit top gear tonight - we nilled a side at home with 4 or 5 players rested while playing in 3rd gear - forget how bad Hull fans say their team is they still have some class players - and to do that to them at home while playing at 60-70% shows how good this team we have could be this season.
As a Hull fan said to me outside - if you lot dont win anything this year i'll eat a rovers shirt !!

Another 'now you see me, now you don't' moment from Faiumu.
I'm not surprised he gets the odd groin strain. He's got a side step of about 3 yards!

| Just like to say your defence was superb last night (probably the best in the league). Your line speed was excellent, didn't give us any time on the ball whatsoever and consequently we score 0 points. I fancy you to beat Saints next week, il certainly be cheering you on as it's about time somebody started to compete with Leeds and Saints. Good luck for the rest of the season.
Good to see you bring a decent following last night as well, at a rough guess I'd say you brought around 600 and you made plenty of noise too.

| apart from that first quarter when i think hull had the upper hand and we could have been 12-0 down,we totally dominated hull in every single department, and they never looked like troubling the scoreboard.
i really am feeling confident about the rest of the season, we haven't really got into 4th gear these last 6 weeks and yet we are totally destroying teams at the moment.
i thought our pack looked to be getting beaten up for the first 10-12 minutes but after we got on top the airliebirds simply had no answer to us.
good time ahead i feel

| I have to admit to having had a 'banana skin' feeling for 2 days before the match and then into the first 20 minutes. With a little more luck on their behalf Hull could have been even 18 points ahead before we cut out the handling errors and silly penalties. It was a huge sense of relief that I felt when we scored the fist try.

1638.jpg How do you tell a communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin.

Remember though, Leeds have the second best defence in the league and they've a game in hand
Good defence and a faster, more attractive game than we've played on many occasions this season. We've usually been well-organised and hard to beat but there was an added edge last night. Kevn Brown looked sharper too. And the players' committment continues to impress.
