Many so called Giants supporters appear to be enjoying seeing the club being dragged through the muck, and are taking sadistic pleasure in adding their twopenn'rth.
Then we have the trolls from Bradford and Wakey having a go, (that may stem from the grief we gave them over the last couple of seasons, which in both cases is far from finished.)
Finally can any SL Club say, with absolute honesty, that they have never made an approach to a target player that did not, in any way, infringe the restrictions imposed by the RFL.
Come on people get real, the management have been found out and are going to suffer the consequences, but this is our team, let's not make it any more difficult than it already is.

I am sure no Giants fans are taking pleasure in it.
MY view is that i am pleased that an employee who was treated disgracefully by an employer has been vindicated. I would feel like this whether it was a bus driver, a school teacher or a rugby player. Employees need rights no matter who they are. I do not subscribe to the view of my club right or wrong. There are things to me that are more important and workers rights is one of them
But there are significant issues here which the club need to address. Ken Davy's statement was an embarrassment and in my mind raises concerns about whether he is out of touch with the day to day management of what is going on. If he is he needs to know that a lot of fans feel that this thing has been a PR disaster and a financial disaster for the club.
Who will Ken turn to to find out what has gone wrong and who was responsible. My guess is it would be Thewlis and Morgan who are his main Lieutenants yet thye are the people who seem to be to blame.
On the basis of the evidence (and i have successfully run 8 Unfair dismissal claims on behalf of friends and colleagues) the decision to defend this claim seems absolutely ludicrous. Whose decision was it to fight the case. Additionally employers often settle out of court to avoid damaging publicity.
The club must have known ( But did Ken?) that they had given misleading information to the RFL (LIED) and that this would come out in a hearing. Did Thewlis tell the legal advisors that this was an issue or was it kept on the QT?
The consequence of this is that the club have lost HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of pounds. anywhere between half and three quarters of a million pounds
Will Ken cover this himself or will it come from selling players and not recruiting others. If it is the second of those options the club and us fans will suffer. Did we lose LOD and EDEN to pay for it.
Has Ken being let down by his managers ?

as for this point i agree and i guess that most clubs do lots of other dodgy stuff BUT the point is you DO NOT GET CAUGHT.
Defending this claim was a guarantee that the club got caught out.
A huge mistake was made in sacking Mason the way it happened, that is bad enough but to compound it with all the other mistakes was incompetence of the highest order.
I do not expect or feel that as fans we are entitled to know the inner workings of the club or management issues that is internal stuff for the club BUT i do feel that IMHO Ken deserves better than he has been served by some of his key staff at the current time.
and as for the trolls from other clubs being given ammunition that is not the fault of posters on here is is the fault of the incompetence of Giants officials to let this happen.
