Must say though Baron that's just how it should be.

Gaskell could be a shrewd signing.One thing I recall when he first came on the scene at Sintellins was 'deep kicking game' at the very least.Take some pressure off Broughy? I think so.

I've always liked Gaskell. He was looking like a really promising player at saints, I think he was just unlucky that he came through at a time when they had other young half backs lomax and wheeler in the saints squad. He had a brilliant first year at Bradford winning player of the year for the championship- then unlucky with injury last season.
We needed him in 2013 when we were trying to sign him- now I'm just not sure where he fits unless at fullback.

From the rather limited opportunities (for a Leigh fan, or probably for a Bradford one too!)) to see him in the Championship, he looks a class act. He's had some bad luck with injuries the last couple of years. Hopefully, he's over that now. Where would that leave Ryan Brierley, by the way?

Have a feeling from the noises coming out that Brierley could get sacrificed for the salary cap.
