he looked out of position on most of tries i saw on sky. he was nowhere near the action or the kicks that went through, although you would expect that from someone who isn't a full back

But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

I planned each charted course;
Each careful step along the byway,
And more, much more than this,
I did it the wrong way.

how many times do I need to say that he isn't a full back, the faster we give him time in the halves to prove what he can do the better this team will be

Yet their brave bid came to a stunning end when Cudjoe stepped out of the defensive line to intercept a pass and then run away for a 90-metre effort. (Times 2) Roses are red Violets are purple The Giants are sweeter than Maple Surple.:

Say it as much and as many times as you like ...........No one's listening that matters.

Ryan is out of his depth he is a top championship player that's it should of stayed with us but greed got the better of him.
Not be long before he is on loan at York.

He's actually been a very safe pair of hands. Teams have targeted him thinking he would be a weak link and he's taken it all in his stride and certainly Doesn't look out of his depth at all to me. Fullback is the most technical position there is-Looks to be learning fast and a couple of nice breaks on Friday. Once he's learnt our structures better I think he will come into his own.

Ryan was a top Championship player who, therefore, deserved a shot at bettering himself in SL. (regardless of any circumstances surrounding his departure from Leigh) He has a lot of talent and is a good listener/learner. Whilst I was sorry to see him leave us, and was disappointed at the 'circus' leading up to his move. I am one Leyther who sincerely hopes he succeeds, in SL at Huddersfield.

Good luck young man!

Got to say when I was watching some of the Hull tries going in my first thought was where the hell is the full back, not even in the frame.
He's been chucked in at the deep end though so that has to be taken into account.

Not sure why Anderson was so quick to jettison J.Tansey, showed up well I thought.Guess they are looking to Simpson to be next cab off the full back rank.He had an absolute 'Joe Cocker' at Wakefield but still think he will come good.

In time I believe ours halves will be Ellis & Connor,Paul Anderson had some great attacking structure going on around those two before Ellis got the injury.Shame to lose Brough, but they all have to move on eventually.

tansey went back as wakefield wanted him back plus we just made brierley our new full back with simpson for cover and grix not far off being fit again

agree i see connor's best position being half back too

Tends to concede less penalties there too.

That would leave us with two slow halfbacks. Neither of whom could attack the line and cause any threat.

Not a good combination in my view.

Whether Brierley is going to be a full back or not he would complement Ellis.

Ellis organising kickijng calling the plays. Brierley running, supporting off the cuff plays

finally! someone else that understands BRIERLEY IS NOT A FULL BACK. He's played his best rugby at half back and sooner he get put there and settled in that position in the team the better we will be as a whole.

"Huddersfield -The Birthplace of Rugby League" They couldnt beat us -so they joined !:

Well there's now Three musqueteers eh? But not a hope in "where we presently are"
In addition - that's looking at it traditionally and I thought Durham were only a young in

As Ive been told many times "the games changed" - and so as logic
Now a lad who played full back and I believe got man of the match (twice)? has had itcos he had a poor game (when all around.....?).....So we sign a promising half back (with the knowledge that Robbos career is over and stick him at full back and we can the put the ex full back somewhere else and move the lad that was there (bulked up) into the forwards where the 2nd rower moves to loose and.……....

There is obviously a plan to confuse the opposition but at the moment they seem to be "reading" it - at least better than some fans!

To be serious though- as a long time supporter through some pretty bleak times,it's not the lack of points that worries me most (though its a hole were in) its what all this will do to Kens target crowd figures and gate revenue even if we somehow rescue the situation / and sponsorship appeal etc To be realistic its gonna hurt in my opinion and take a lot more time to claw back than the missing points!

We need to wait till Grix comes back, The whole box of tricks " or chess pieces " will go up in the air then and we shall have yet another new look team.

Your main point about Mr Davy and crowd figures is a far more important issue , It's one that the majority of people on here don't want to even think about , let alone talk about, They will post endless posts on what they think the starting 13 should be, where they would play this player or that player, They will grasp at any kind of straw for comfort, The latest one being that somehow things are not so bad yet because we are not as bad yet as 2001.

There are those who can make the stats say anything " and I don't dispute them " The one stat that matters above all others, get's largely ignored, the number of Fans turning up to watch. Whatever was happening to get the number up to 8.000 3 years ago wants to start happening again now before It's too late.
Whatever we believe the problems are , Mr Anderson, the Players, the fitness coaches, the Hirers and Firers, where this player should be or that , we all have opinions that's what the forum is for, " though some people are unable to take someone else's without getting uptight about them sometimes ".

My point is this, that while we are all giving our opinions on what should be done, The club is going backwards in an alarming fashion, There are plenty on here who can talk about the Bad old days, well they know what it has taken to get the club to where it was with a fan base of 8.000 some 3 years ago, Well with top 4 finishes and a LLS win the slide has continued, We had got to where we were starting to be thought of as a serious S league contender with Players playing for England and such, Now we are where we are and people are still making up reasons for it.

The most baffling thing for me is why Mr Davy is allowing it to go on, He can see as well as any of us what is happening, better I expect. But as I have said before It's his money going down the drain, but once we get down again it won't be any easier to get back up than it was last time. We are already in serious trouble league wise , We could have some sort of transformation come about, " it would be nice if we could " but that is far more of a hope than a reality.

No matter how much the players or coach talk things up in the Examiner, When you talk to people about the Giants , the first thing you here is " there's something wrong down there " I fail to see how some changes could make things any worse. We will have to wait and see. A win against Wolves would be massive just now.
