| Bought a flexi 4 on the back of this game. Told there's been a very positive response to the flexi 4 tickets which is all much needed income for the club. Hopefully a good crowd in tomorrow and a good team performance to follow.

The flexi tickets could well be a god send- especially as it appears we have a flexi-fixture list this season!

Then maybe the club could make it more attractive and allow it for both stands. We are not exactly short of seats.
Theoretical civersation
Hi Fred how would you and your kids like to come to the giants game oN Monday / tuesday/ Wednesday ‘ etc
We can have a beer and a laugh and the kids can enjoy it.
Yes I’d love that.
See you Sunday I’ll get the flexi ticket.
Sunday comes
Hi Fred here’s your ticket you go sit over there and I will sit in this stand !
I was going to post this before when someone challenged me about not wanting to go in the Kilmer side. I did not reply as it is blindingly obvious. If you want to get new fans make it is easy as possible.
Still it took at least 8 years from me suggesting a flexi ticket to the club before they did it.

But they DO-
I’ve seen a brilliant video from the club about the game coming up - excellently well made and promoting the town too!
Perhaps you aren’t looking in the right places.
I have seen it, but it hardly appropriate music to accompany the video. The one by Mark Atack is much more dramatic.

Here’s a suggestion out of left field- go and sit with your friend in the other stand.........

Sunny, dry and windy.
Wind forecast to drop from 40 to 20 by kick off.
Have a good journey over - Windy Hill will be living up to it name I guess.

| Quote: fartown since 1961 "Interesting reading the comments in Wigan Today how confident the Wigan Fans are of winning on Sunday. That we are average plus Sezer, had ‘gimme’ wins at Salford and HKR and there’s every chance Wigan will run away with it against an average over achieving Huddersfield team.
Interesting comments for a team that has won three at home but lost its only away trip so far.
So will it be a close match, a mis-match or will we prove to be genuine contenders... a very interesting Sunday’s sport indeed.
Talk has it JT’s back, Gavet will be fit and Darnell may play which apart from the three long term injuries would put us at pretty much full strength.
The big bench again for me and get a fast start this week... this I am looking forward to...
My biggest fear a game spoiling performance from one J Child'"
Justified comments from Wigan Today then?

Huddersfield Giants - "We know our place": |

| That team believed it would lose before they stepped on the pitch.
Since I can only get to Sunday games, that might be it for the season for me. So it's a real shame the players couldn't be d.

| Well that was disappointing.
Seems that resilience has gone already.
We were competitive at the start - As soon as sezer went off heads went. Earlyish in that second half when we were pinned in our own half of the field and under the cosh there were two sets when not a single forward took the ball in bar one from joe wardle. A loss isnt a disappointment but their reaction to adversity was.
Four days off was the wrong signal to send I feel. Do t do that again woolford!

| Briliant for 30 mins then just self destructed following the high shot and sin binning of Sezer. It was a sin binning but a very high shot on Bruno was missed a little bit earlier with not so much as a penalty awarded. Refs really need to start getting consistent with this. Childs then gave a couple of cheap penalties following the 2nd Wigan try to gift them a 3rd then the 4th try was a great effort from Marshall and that was game over.
We have a distinct lack of pace across the back line and I just don't rate the Jerry and Turner combo i'm afraid, both strong carriers of the ball but both incredibly slow now and you have to question their defence. The majority of tries scored out wide seem to be down Jerrys side in most of our games.
We have 4 players in reality who should be in our first choice back line of Golding, Darnell, Cudjoe and Uate who are injured. Will we ever in reality see either of Cudjoe or Uate again?
Was very impressed with Jake Wardle who looks very threatening and if Cudjoe does some how make it back it should be at the expense of Turner and not Jake who is our best centre now.
Would both Jake Wardles effort and Gavets ball on the line effort have been awarded a try if it was Wigan in the same position from Childs?
Think Woolford also made a big mistake letting the players have 4 days off following the KR win. Should have been 2 days off then back in on Monday, not Wednesday. Especially players who have missed most of pre season.

| Got what we deserved today nothing, shows how much we already rely on sezer, as soon as he went off we collapse and our backsides fall out as we didnt have anyone leading, correct call too so no point whinging about the ref.
Credit to Wigan though they hammered us on the edges and full ydeserved their win.
Think all the media stuff about us not playing anyone yet and this been a proper test must have got to the players and made them question themselves very dissapointing after the superb 3 away perfomances

| Turned out as i feared, It would be the Wigan backs that skinned us for pace. That was so disappointing, We created plenty of chances first half up until Sezer went off, from then on we were just not up to it, That was a superb solo effort from marshal, don't know where the full back was.
Once again the hooker was completely shot on about 50 minutes ( not surprisingly ) and that didn't help at all, Still it tells us where we are in reality and not all teams are as good as wigan though the next game won't get any easier, Forwards didn't do too bad till the capitulation but early days yet, we will do better.
