| "I've been wanting to join a strong club for a long time," said Mamo, who can play at full-back, centre and wing. That's nice of him....

| Very strange goings on even by the standards down there where little or no information is given by the clueless chief exec but everything is leaked anyway. Either Woolford is a genius with some stellar signings to come or we have accepted that London will be bottom and Ken’s aim is to lose as little as possible. To those who think Grix will add to and improve the team take a look at all the big games he played in and what the outcome was in those games.
When Mamo says what he says he probably means a club where they have a proper kit launch, market season tickets etc etc. While he was injury prone at times at least he was exciting to watch and provided some entertainment an important factor in attracting new support, if Grix is the 1st choice 1 I can’t see fans flocking in despite his great organisational qualities

He needs a strong club to carry him off the field when he’s injured.

You can't read too much into it. His aim is to get his current club's speccies onside - not the club he is leaving. Does he mean it? Well it won't be the worst outcome leaving the ugly sister club to the bridesmaid. He didn't play much for the ugly sister last season though, did he!
All the best to him etc blah.

| 25 games in two seasons just isnt enough from mamo.
when he was fit at the back end of last season he couldnt get back in the team at times too. we have other options now

Wouldn’t be too sure about that, we still have an overseas quota spot and Furner did state he wanted at least two more top class players

I think that Ikahihfo will be at the Rhinos for 2019,we just need to get rid of some squad fillers first
IMO Ikahihfo was always intended to be Garbutt's replacement option

| Well Seb says he’s staying. Getting stuck
Into pre season training. So looks like he’s a giant for 2019.

| yeh looking that way
but how de motivating for him knowing your own coach doesnt really want you???? not great for morale is it.
staying because other clubs cant afford his wages... yes they are high but dream team prop and was best in the comp when he signed new deal with his best years to come, injury hit last year lets hope he can get back to 2017 standards

| Very poor PR surely this could be handled better for a very good popular player.

It's hard to believe he doesn't want Ikahihifo - I don't know what wage he's on but I also don't know where he's going to find a Prop of at least the same quality at this stage. He's 27, in his prime and already at your club. From the outside looking in it's a strange one for me.

Probably due to rule changes looking for props who can do bigger minutes with the new rule changes coming in.

| Looks like Woolford wants new blood but is hamstrung with players on high salaries that others are not prepared to pay as has been pointed out on this thread discussing in the media (Not your club) that a player cannot be signed as his pay cannot be met but (your club) offering him for a move is not as pointed out good for morale.
Doesn't do the coach or the players any favours.

Equally Woolford is making it be known he’s not happy with expensive mediocrity. Good on him.
Seb was brilliant in 2017, dream team yadda yadda ....then he signed a long term deal and suddenly in 2018 his form dipped
Perhaps it will inspire them to improve next year and play their best to prove a point!
