| Great effort, for I though me Mellor, O'Brien and Gaskell were brilliant. Gaskell inparticular really looks like he's finding some form in the halves.
The most impressive thing for me is our togetherness and finally having some balls and guts. We didn't get bullied today and some of the Wigan players ended up looking pathetic.
The experience of Hewer in the middle and Child on the wing should have produced a better officiating performance than that. I don't understand how they either miss the blatantly obvious or see something that's not even there!

| The stats show just THIRTEEN tackles missed all game. Compared to 36 missed by Wigan. 8 of our players kept ‘clean sheets’. Mellor and OB putting in 34 and 35 tackles respectively with none missed!
Fantastic defensive display. Let’s hope we can recreate that next Friday!

| Things are certainly looking up for next year. Its going to be really interesting to see where Woolford thinks we need to strengthen further for next year.
If Mamo is going, is a quality full back or a half a priority? Im beginning to think a full back might be our best option and bring a half in the year after? Hes much more likeable is Mamo now hes not messing with his hair every 2 minutes, though. Although, Woolford wasnt too convincing that Mamo would he here next season in his interview, saying we've been looking at a couple of key players.

| our defence was brilliant, as it was against hull fc week before, lots of hard work for each other and determination to win! goes a long way in rugby league.
wigan were poor with lots of errors, got abit fed up of tomkins in the ear of the ref every two minutes.
ref hewer once again getting lots of decisions wrong, hes really is poor.
brough off target with the boot cost us 8 points, luckily we got away with it.
gaskell proving his worth past two weeks, can actually see his confidence coming back and playing well in the halves.... being allowed to do his own plays and kicks without brough mouthing off at him, hope it continues.
thought we would struggle without the two big men ikahihifo and taai but the lads that come in were brilliant, ferguson and english.
one more win secures top 8

There was a period where our away form was better than our home, but we are a genuine force at home at the moment, and play with a grit and determination that has seen us on the verge of making the Top 8. Bravo!'"
yes!
we used to be very hard to beat and home and it was a fortress but lost that past few years
won last 4 now so getting back to that fortress it once was!

| I think fair amount of credit needs to go to Rick Stone.
He laid the groundwork for this current turnaround.

| Reading the Wigan fans forum. They were blaming us for watering the pitch, causing them to lose ball control. Blasting Hewer for giving Giants penalties following crowd pressure. And Hewer giving Giants a penalty every time Broughy told him we should have one.
Quite hilarious reading those comments. But there was one Wigan fan who said that first Wigan try shouldn`t have stood (knock on). Which we all suspected.

| Massive, Massive win. Broughys game management in the second half, particularly when Lawrence was in the bin, was excellent. He takes a lot of stick from some quarters, but in my view he's still got it and I'm pleased he's signed for another season.

| Wigan were made to look ordinary last night. They couldn't get past us either down the middle or out wide and eventually their strike runners stopped trying. That's when Tomkins started to really go for the ref at every opportunity, luckily Hewer didn't listen to him but f that had been Broughy the ref would have binned him I'll bet. Even having Bruno in the bin didn't have any real detrimental effect to our attack or defence and to be honest t looked and felt as though we were one player up not Wigan. More of the same next week and we're safe. COYG.

And nothing about certain Wigan players mouthing off to the ref.Wigan play on the edge every game they play and certainly don't like it when its done to them.Just watch the disciplinary next week I'll lay odds no Wigan player is charged but I wouldn't put money on Bruno getting away with it!!

It’s three years next month since Bruno was up before the disclipinary- he has an excellent fair play record. If they ban him it will be a travesty!

Agree Turner has looked great back in the centres. His line as a dummy runner early in he second half created space for darnells try and gave us that bit of a cushion
