Well if it's as bad as no one dares to drop him, then we are in deeper trouble than i thought. trouble is we have no one who is any better, If Gaskill had the qualities he would still be at Saints, Rankin is no better, he is another of the " he never lets us down lot" , which we have plenty of, Put them all together and we have what we have ( a poor side )
Changes at the top and another Nathan Brown is what i see would work, but we know it's not going to happen so we will just have to slide gently down the tubes .

reality is maybe the aspirations we can hope for are top 8 every season like widnes, salford... going by attendances we are ahead of these two and the table kind of goes with attendances apart from wakefield who at the moment are the ones who have taken our place of over achieving

I don't see what they can do. Rick Stone is a very Aussie in his approach and adopts a minimal risk approach and goes berserk by all accounts if players drop the ball, even in training. That sort of approach isn't really conducive to any free flowing rugby. I suspect they're under orders to run it up the pitch then kick high whilst the conditions are what they are... They might loosen up a touch if the sun ever comes out in 2018.

Perhaps they are- and you know what- it’s working because we are sat on the opposition line more often than they are on ours!
The problem is the next bit- we aren’t putting on the plays to make the space- that doesn’t even always need us to make more than one pass- we just have to make the opposition unsure where the ball is going- and we are useless on that score. The only person that moves out of the line is the man who’s taking the ball in - he may as well have a sign on his head.

Yeah I'd go with that - we always tend to try and power over rather than do anything creative.

You mate are a fantasist. Against Wakefield you were only any of those things for the first 15 minutes. The game last 80 minutes and in the remaining 65 minutes you weren't and Wakefield were.

Now try and work out why Wakefield won and won easily in the end!

How pathetic, why would you get rid of 2 outstanding young british coaches because your average players aren't playing well? you do realise they only 'assist' the head coach and not actually tell the players what they want them to do? Robinson is doing a superb job with your juniors whe the hell would you want him to leave
