| Easy to understand all the anger and frustration, but i can't believe anyone is really that shocked, This is the state of the side " and the club" now. I said a long time ago , everything about the club says loser, It doesn't just say it , It shouts it out loud.
It's very easy to put all the blame on R Stone but to be fair he is as much to blame as anyone else, He is obviously not the only one to blame but as far as i can see we might just as well have kept Anderson, RS seems to be the perfect clone, Certainly nothing has changed at all on the field as far as attitude is concerned.
I would like to think we have hit bottom now but i am not confident in any way. I thought RS needed time but he has had time enough to instill some sort of desire into the players. I just think now that he is entirely the wrong person for the job.
There will no doubt be some posters coming on and telling us, now is exactly the time we should be getting behind the team, just like we have for the last season and half. Good luck with that, I won't be there again this season, I have better things to do. I do hope things pick up for them but i won't be there to see it, you have to draw a line somewhere, today was that line for me.

I don't blame you Jo.
You do have to draw a line somewhere and today was mine in terms of I will not be going to another game which will cost me money which means all away games for a while unless a massive change of attitude from the players happend and Rick Stone is sacked or resigns. I will however continue to go to home games but I may watch the Cas game at home and give my ticket away as it will be another hammering.
If i go the Cas game it will likely be with the huge Stone Out Thewlis Out banner I have made today which will probably end with other fans getting angry and probably confronting me and causing conflict.
Its going to be a massive fight between Wakey, Wire and St Helens who finishes in the bottom 4 but Leigh, Us and Widnes are nailed on for me. I honestly think we will get relegated unless we make urgent changes to the club before its too late.
I think we will hit rock bottom when we hit rock bottom of the table - likely to happen in the next 2 weeks after playing Leeds and Cas.

Well i haven't given him any abuse, I have given an opinion " like you ". I would suggest the evidence so far supports my opinion rather than yours.

This must be a joke post. Or you are related to him?! But then again, even his own mother couldn't defend such a track record.
Seriously? 'A proven quality coach'? Please, I beg you, back this up with facts. His record is absolutely abysmal, here and all before we had the displeasure. (His win ratio with us is boosted by beating featherstone, London and Batley in last year's crappy 8s let's not forget)
I am more than happy to get behind him, as long as it is on his way out of the stadium for the final time.

| How many signings has Stone personally chosen and brought to the club?
Mamo and Wakeman are the only 2 I can think of
If this is the case then questions need to be asked about your recruitment team rather than blaming the coach alone
You were garbage in 2016 under Anderson and have regressed even further in 2017 but IMO it is not only the coach that should burden the blame.
Has Ken Davy finally given up on his quest for glory and his subsequent shelling out for quality players?
You signed 4 Bulls players prior to this season in Gaskell,Clough,Ferguson and Mellor and that clearly shows the owners ambition does it not?

I agree with some of your post, but it seems to infer that any signings that R Stone would have made would have been good ones, Most of the new signings were Anderson's choice that's true. but RS should be able to get them above the level of Swinton " no dis ".
Have you checked out his coaching record at all.

Our situation is caused more by the fact that stone is unable to get the players to gel as a unit and play for each other, put their bodies on the line for each other ect. They are not playing as a unit and I see that as stones job to install this mentality and motivation into the players. When he comes out with comments like "if I had my way I would have a team full of Aussie players as I do not rate you English guys" then that is going to cause a massive rift immediately. Man management and Rick Stone are not 2 things that go together at all.

| There are a lot of parallels between you guys and Hull 7/8 years ago. Both had some success (for you a league leaders, for us a CC and a grand final), but instead of building on it poor management sees you slip down the table despite, on paper, some very good players. I dont know what goes on behind the scenes at Hudds but at Hull it was a mixture of sacking the coaches that brought us success far too prematurley, only to replace them with an utter clown, whilst cutting costs everywhere possible on facilities, back room staff and pretty much everything else. The whole culture at the club was rotten and it took nearly a decade to get us back to where we should have been and I fear you have a long road back also. Stone needs to go, hes done nothing anywhere in his career. Get rid and get the right man in and you can build from there.

Who's the right man though dude ? Thorman and Robinson back up coaches are getting slagged off, which is fair enough.
I've not got the answer, let's go to Leeds with Jake Mamo and the rest, build on an improved SL performance from the last time.

Correct just 2 of them are his signings. But that is no excuse for the poor way we are set up. The squad is what it is, work with it.
We have no clue what we are doing all over the pitch, and that rests at his door along with his assistants. A poor team can be coached to perform at a certain level, and a decent coach would make changes to improve in areas that are causing problems, but there is none of this. It's the same every single week. We get rolled upfield by opposition pack every week by poor, weak defending and allowing quick play the balls/offloads, which costs us tries week in week out. When we have ball in hand, we reach their 20 line and panic as there is no structure to our play, it's all off the cuff and no one has a clue where the ball will be going from one pass to the next, until we inevitably drop it or knock on or get intercepted. I can see it, the rest of the dwindling faithful can see it, he must be able to see it, but nothing changes. I honestly am unsure whether we actually train with a ball at any point during the week.
His recent press conference said it all when he said he can't keep coming out saying the same things every week after we lose....that's right Rick, you can't, so make a change and take a look at what you are allowing to happen every week. You're in charge man, get a grip!

Smith was a decent player when you could not wait to sign him, send him back and we'll make him a good player again.
