Have to admit to a few nerves, mainly because Brough always plays well against us, and his kicks will really test our very inexperienced backline, especially the young lads who are our 5th and 6th choice wingers.

can say that again!
no ferguson this sunday
both first choice 2nd rowers missing. plus lawrence who would also be in so thats 3 forwards out. mamo still weeks off
cant be any worse than last week, if we execute in attack we have a chance
maybe we didnt give leigh enough credit last week for their defence, warrington also struggled to break them down

Looks like more of the same in terms of team selection, unless he decides to swap positions of a couple of players.
Mikey Wood or Dickinson might possibly replace either Clough or Smith from the interchange.
Yeah watching Leythers frustrate Wire, put last weeks hiding into some context.Wasn't there but a concerning aspect to come out of the stats were how Sebastine & Ukuma's metres per carry were well down on previous rounds.Plus Ley stopped our offloading.Though on the plus side they reckon Wakeman had his best game.
Don't fancy our chances in this one to be right honest. Just hope we witness some improvement in execution on attack, plus stiffen up the defence down the middle/first contact.

| Wigan are missing:
Sam Tomkins - Ex international could still be international standard
John Bateman - Current International
Dom Manfredi - On verge of England before injury
Joe Burgess - One of SL best wingers may get in England squad
Ryan Sutton - first team Prop
Lewis Tierney - First choice wing back up
Michael Mcilorum - starting hooker
Oliver Gildart - starting centre
If we cannot compete with a team missing that amount of quality players then we really are S****
We only have 3 players who would get in our starting 17 out injured in Symonds, Mamo and Lawrence....Wigan have 8 first 17 players out injured

| Difference being Wigan can bring in quality reserves to replace injured players, they're 5th and 6th choice wingers would probably get in bottom half teams !!!
Same as every game the team who plays better will win regardless of who's playing and isn't for each.

Very true Daz - I would definitely pick Wigans first 6 choice wingers over Aaron Murphy.

| Fear for you tomorrow folks,i'll be serprised if they dont put 50 on you.
Give George Williams a good smack early doors and you might have a slender chance.

it wasnt a pounding last week, the scoreline may have suggested that but the giants dominated possession, territory and chances..didnt take advantage. ikahihifo was great again and he was sin binned, may have taken his stats down a shade

| Feels odd to be going to a Sunday game- especially at Wigan- a long time since that last happened! I'm not expecting a win but I'm hoping for a decent performance- especially from brough who has quite frankly been pants so far this season.

| Im expecting us to concede in the region of 30-40 points any less and I will be happy. However, Im hoping we will at least score 10-16 points. Again, any more will be a bonus. If we get nilled again I feel Stone may end up resigning before his marquee signing has even played a game for the Giants.
