| Looking forward to this. Long shot but taking my son to first game and trains haven't been overly kind in timings.
Any recommendations for a quietish, child tolerant public house?

| If you want quietish Sportsman round the corner from the station is a real ale pub that are very welcoming- that will probably be your best bet. Not many that close to the stadium itself- Yorkshire rose on Leeds road next to costa is very child friendly but will be heaving. Ropewalk next to stadium likewise. The Gas club is another (busy) possibility.

Just get them to enjoy the experience first- My 10 year old daughter, unlike my son, is rather "meh" about what goes on on the pitch- but she has been going along since a baby and enjoys the "day out". Meal out, rare pack of sweets at half time, kids zone, the atmosphere, an opportunity to make lots of noise, for her the rugby is just an aside!

Yet their brave bid came to a stunning end when Cudjoe stepped out of the defensive line to intercept a pass and then run away for a 90-metre effort. (Times 2)

| Decent conditions,dry and 14/15 degrees C.
It's got to be better than the last time I saw these two teams live which was at the Olympic stadium London last year. That was one of the most dreary games of RL I can recall watching.

| Worst advert for along time in regards to enforcing a quick play the ball.

| Jerry was good though, makes you wonder what would have happened had Leroy been with him rather than the dis-interested Watkins, same with Hall on the other side, there was space on either flank waiting to be exploited but both wingers were shockingly poor and contributed absolutely 0 to the team.

Do you mean both centres?
Neither got much ball and when they did they did nothing with it. Watkins just doesn't seem to want to pass to Jerry does he! One point where he went down with the ball when he could/should have passed Jerry was visibly frustrated with him.

| great to be part of a full house for rugby league at the john smiths again
typical tough close international game, thought their kicking game was alot better than ours we had so many drop outs to defend, whereas ours just got put up in the air and delt with easily by their full back
have to beat the aussies now! but if they beat nz next weekend it might make our task abit easier as they will already have qualified

| Should have had the game won after the first 20 odd minutes,we had the chances, some incorrect decision making at crucial times, plus when Watkins failed to take that offload from Jerry, just overran the ball by a split second with the line wide open.
Overall thought the team played good, can't afford to come up with basic errors though.Close contest in the end,but like Bennett said just lacked the 'smarts' at the key moments.I'll give credit to Watkins he kept a close watch on Kata who hardly featured going forward.
Maybe two players who might be changed by WB are Sarginson and Bateman. Sarg likes to step inside rather than look to bring the winger into the game.Bateman got through a lot of work but his lack of size means he finds it hard to win the ground at this level.
