Which is completely irrelevant.
We still obviously have money to spend on players. If players want to play elsewhere for more money then that is their perogative. However it cannot be argued that the club cannot afford better players as long as extensions are offered to players we have.

It's not at all irrelevant- as you have no idea whether these extensions are more or less than what they are currently earning!

You are absolutely correct and I apologise, if your reason for not renewing automatically is financially related due to other commitments I apologise unreservedly and my comments are not aimed at you.

What you say is true. We could have got rid of Larne Patrick and kept Hughes but we demanded a transfer fee of Wigan who would have kept him for nothing if we let him go instead we brought him back to the Giants and let Jack Hughes go to Wire.
We all know how that ended with Patrick but his body on the line, being happy and playing for us all through the 2016 season and helping us have a great season whilst Jack Hughes has achieved nothing this year (apart from a grand final and a Cc cup final with those no hopers at Wire ).GREAT BIT OF BUSINESS BY SOMEONE AT THE CLUB WAS THAT ONE.
But I guess jools and Meast will say that was nothing to do with the club, how do we know what went on behind closed doors and if our fans and Huddersfield were better the club could do anything it wanted.
IMHO we could have crowds of 10 k but we do bait have the right people at the top running things. Anderson was not the right coach and that was clear a long time ago.

Here we go again with the "let him go" line. Hughes said when he went he did so because Warrington was closer to home- he was obviously sick of commuting the M62 from Lancashire. The choice is not just down to the club- the players need to want to sign. For some it's just down to money, others have other considerations- as alluded to by jumbuck- just like supporters players have other commitments to their families!!! Some think their careers will be better served elsewhere....

| He also said at different time he wanted to stay. What was reported by the club in te examiner at the time counts for nothing. The clib also said at the time they wanted to keep him but salary cap considerations with Patrick coming back made it imposssible. You just to choose to believe what you want sand defend the club no matter what. No matter what the evidence is.
I would guess that if he had the right offer or or was happy here a 1 hour commmute 3 or 4 x a week is no great hardship !
Bodgy did not seem too upset with a A Huddersfield to wire commute.
I note that you do not comment on the Patrick being brought back against his will by the club who wanted a transfer fee was a good idea.
I said very clearly at the time that there was no point in bringing back an unhappy player. Unfortunately no one at the club listened to me !!!!!!

Yet again Jools sprouting Rubbish. She does not know what Contracts were or were no offered. As always she defends the Clubs position and total lies. I will not be renewing till I see change at the Top. Good luck to Rick Stone hope he selects His own Players and not the Thewlis /Shuttleworth choices. The Bulls three being an example.!!!!!!

Do you think it was a good idea bringing back Patrick to the Giants when he said he did not want to be here when Wagamama said they were quite happy to take him on.
Yes or no.
If it was not a good idea do you think the club made a mistake in doing it.
Yes or no
If we did not brining Patrick back would we have had additional cap space
Yes or no
Just stop ignoring the facts and arguing in support of the management of the club for no reason.

Hughes may very well have wanted to stay- his wife/girlfriend may have had her input, the commute itself may or may not have been a hardship to him- it may have been a hardship to his missus. I would imagine bodgys missus had made friends and didn't want to move again. Horses for courses and everyone's circumstances are different and will have different considerations.
We had no choice to bring back Patrick if Wigan didn't want him- he was contracted to us. we don't know whether him not staying was down to a transfer fee or whether Wigan just didn't want him- WE DONT KNOW, ah but what Wigan say in the press is believable- that's different to what hudds do when it's reported in the examiner?!?
Some just like to believe rumours and think the worst regardless-
If we had "let him go" for nowt you would have moaned about that as well! As it was cas paid for him so good move by the club!

"At what goes on" that's a nothing comment. No substance to your statement there at all!
What stone DID say is thewlis does not say who the club signs! it seems you've forgotten everything.
