Going forward I wouldn't totally expect Brough to be at the Giants. The club would offload him tomorrow if they could.

In fact Andy Kelly has backed up Anderson's thoughts that he must be moved on.

Before everybody jumps down my throat, this isn't my opinion, it's factual. I love watching Brough play as much as everybody else but the harsh fact is he is doing nothing for team spirit.

Nobody is jumping down your throat. However when has either Anderson or Kelly said that Brough needs to be moved on. If you are going to make sweeping statements you need to back them up.

I agree entirely, If the rest of the side went as well in their positions over the season we wouldn't be going into the middle 8's. What he has done wrong to lose him his natural place I don't know. I was thinking we were over all that stuff.

I've never felt entirely easy about him leaving ,after all the rumors earlier, Hull signing Conner has eased things a bit.

What you probably need to see is that Brough is his own team spirit - he does what he wants.

Just because he jumps around shouting and thumping his badge after scoring doesn't mean he's good for the club.

Like I said I don't want to be told these things about a player who has been a joy to watch but life isn't blue skies and fluffy clouds and neither is life within a RL club.

But if you choose to ignore this and believe your own version then that's fine. No worries.

I can only call Broughy as I see him.

He always puts a 100% in on the pitch.

He has been on a number of occasions this season the only player to come over to the fans on the Revell Ward side after the game.

When not picked he always turned up to watch the team.

I have no idea what goes on behind the scenes and have no internal sources.

My view based on the evidence of my own eyes is that he's good for the club and cares about the fans.

Of course I hear things from "friends of friend"s about giants but the world is full of unsubstantiated nonsense put about by people with nothing better to do.

Like I say I'm a ST holder like probably most on here and would like nothing more than Broughy to stay and get back to his best.

Am not really sure what you want me to say regarding this with giving snippets of information. Did you know that Brough does turn up to games when he isn't playing, like against Wigan at home. Got hammered and embarrassed for club in town afterwards. Hence, the stripping of his captaincy.

The story about Hull trying to sign Broughy was true. They were close to doing the deal but couldn't get Leon Pryce sold to the Bulls and off the salary cap. So it fell through. Pryce has signed for Bradford for 2017 by the way.

Brough is a cracking player. But there's a reason he was never picked for England even at his peak and even when we were somewhat short of halves.
