Do you not think that of these players were available we would have been in for them? We have space on the cap I'm pretty sure on that, but at the moment they just aren't available. You can't sign whats not there.'"
Yes I know that's why the Ormsby loan doesn't make sense either I totally agree with waiting for the right player but it's a forward or two we need not an outside back that was a few weeks ago we needed backs and got Foster and Tansey

| I actually think J.Johnson is ready for SL, he's looked a solid player to me this year. Pretty much the same player as Koppy but 7/8 years younger and probably a third of the salary. Agreed we need a strike second row, and while I think Bruno has shone down the right I think we have missed him in the middle!

159 metres and 54 tackles last week for Mike a superman performance for me. Yet there are those who would still leave him out !!
J. Johnson stops before he is tackled and gives away too many penalties for me

| Quote: jools "Of course Greg brown was replaced- it would have been a daft thing to do to leave the club without a set of conditioners. You are talking like Greg brown was sacked- it could actually be that since Greg brown had been with the Giants since he qualified from hudds uni he may have felt that he needed a fresh challenge and to add something else to his career-he may have CHOSEN to leave. You also assume that Anderson was the one making the new appointment- perhaps not!'"
NO it was Anderson who wanted to replace Greg Brown.
No assumption fact

| You're 100% sure on that Durham? Able to elaborate? I mean, why on Earth would the coach want rid of the conditioner who had such a fantastic track record over the last couple of seasons?

I heard from a good source associated with the club although i dont know for sure why Anderson wanted to replace him.
The suggestion was that Anderson was looking for a reason on why we faded away at the end of the season.
This i was also told links in with Anderson losing the dressing room blaming others and not accepting responsibility .
There must be others who know more than me about this.
Jools and others sometimes bump into players . Someone must know something.
What i do feel is that anything official from the club i would be sceptical about.

| sorry fartown a big unit with pace yes please also lets joe move to 2nd row. hinchcliffe in the NRL was a similar type of player to bruno in d but offer more in attack so i can see where breailey is coming from . only 2nd row we could sign to replace ferris was jj who playing for Salford
looks like middle 8 with leeds we need to sjgn 2 more quality players for me 2nd row and a outside back for me or run the risk of 1m game

This is probably the spin the club put on things to hide the reality.

| The whole club needs a shake up starting at the top. The team is better than its current position and will be in super league next season IMO. But we've been going backwards as a club these last 2 years and these last weeks have it on its knees.

| It was 100% down to Anderson for Greg Brown leaving... It all started off with Mullally... Anderson kept saying that Mullally wasn't fit enough... But Greg assured him that he is one of the fittest and strongest in training, its game time he needs to build up match his match fitness.... Which i'm pretty was pretty obvious.
Another reason, is Greg would turn up to training ready to do his session with the boys and anderson would have set up his own fitness/conditioning session and told Greg that he was taking training for the day...
I'm sure there are many other reasons too... But, i'm pretty sure Greg would have loved to have stayed at the Giants, however, I wouldn't appreciate being treated like that, and i'm sure he didn't.

We could certainly do with Mullally now, Lazy as he was according to some posters on here, He was in fact our most aggressive forward, Yes he was a bit raw but he was learning, trouble was he couldn't get enough time on the field.
