Re the ferres thing, I believe that if our squads situation was not as hampered as it is it may have been more of an issue. Our issues will have taken a fair amount of focus off any ill feelings that players may have. I doubt many players would empathise with huby but can't see the entire squad being out for blood so to sPeak. If we were at full strength with huby in there too... Who knows but that's not how the situation is playing out. Will have to wait till the return fixture at our spot!
With the penalties with have been shipping out so far we just need to focus on ourselves not head hunting a player

that was more or less what i was trying to say,if someone decides to have a pop at Ferres, will it affect the mindset and concentration.

Can imagine that both ours and Leeds fortunes will have changed when we play the return leg! Many players back and can imagine the crowd being ready to hurl some abuse ferres's way! With huby playing at the same time we may get some retribution play.

As baloo said at the forum, what happened happened....we can't change it and it hasn't affected the guys.

To be honest I hope someone does lamp him, his attitude after the 'event' was completely crass and without remorse. He has shown no compassion for the lives he's wrecked. It would have been better all round if he'd kept his trap shut and just got on with the job he's being well paid for.

Will actually say the better team lost, we were fortunate that 3/4 guys managed to lift enough for us in the 2nd half to drag us over the line.

Murphy loses it cleanly and Hardaker runs 20m with it in the 1st half yet the ref calls it back for a strip that clearly didn't happen and it builds up to your first try,


Don't be daft enough to think all the wrong calls went against you.

As for this particular one, that is the exact kind of obstruction call that most condemn as a poor call and you'd be livid if given against you in an attacking position. It was quite rightly not given as an obstruction.

The grounding I think is good. The question is of enough evidence to overturn the original 'guess' decision which I hate anyway. But the grounding was ok when replayed.
