| What planet are we on, Mullally is one of the best up and comming props who actually goes forward even when being tackled so he goes to leeds and we put a BBC pundit on a 2 year extension. Very progressive.

How the hell do you work that out. Rapira hardly played last season because of chronic hamstring problems and missed the start of this season, game back the other week on the subs bench and now out again on the injured list with his hamstring again.
Agree he's been a cracking player and could be/will be again but has to get over these hamstring issues to do this and then settle in England.
So on 'CURRENT' form has to be Mullalley

| Is there another Anthony Mulally because the one we have is a decent player with size but has never been "one of the best up and coming young props" in any of the seven universes.

Rapira played 18 games last season- I wouldn't call that "hardly". There's plenty of time for him to sort his hamstring out, let's hope he does so.
Wonder who Leeds fans would rather have had? Bearing in mind they are replacing an 80 minute workhorse prop and another long minute prop in kylie. They were all happy as Larry about Rapira joining them- (Of course they will now say mullaley )
Rapira is a hardworking prop forward- he will bring more than mullally in defence and work rate IF fit. I'd rather keep both but Mullallys agent had other ideas.

| Id like to have both. But out of the two you've got to admit that Mullaley is the safest option. Rapira could be a very very good signing, but equally he could be an awful signing with his injury doubts.
Leeds were nailed on for Rapira, it was even confirmed on the Warriors' Rapira player info page and reported on Fox news. If he has now suddenly signed for Hudds then you can only assume that some complications have arisen in terms of the contract. Maybe Leeds saw that he was out again with his hamstring and pulled the plug...Who knows.

| Maybe he spoke to some of the Kiwi former giants we have had in recent years and they sold him on us?

| It's a good job he's gone on a 3 year deal. It will take most of the Leeds trolls at least that long to learn to spell his name.

| The Rapira is signing for Leeds came from the same person who claimed Gareth ellis was definitely signing for Leeds.
from a few thousand miles away on the other side of the planet, Leeds may as well be Huddersfield......

| I can't blame Mullally leaving, in my opinion he has had to be too patient and there seems to be a lack of reward for patience, eg bobby fairbank was the best trainer all pre-season and didn't get a shot, although conversely Connor and Leeming have had a bit more game time recently.
I think Mullally will end up being a huge player and a future England international if he chooses that path (it's guaranteed when you wear blue and amber). As soon as I heard the news on rapira I thought a forward would be leaving, with the remaining guys out of contract I thought it was Koppy (the other forwards were Mull, Ukuma and Ferres)
Can't blame him for choosing Leeds, good luck to the lad!

Problem with Fairbank is no matter how hard he's working in the gym-it appears he isn't delivering on the pitch, and it's not just PA that thinks so. Fairbank has been on loan to a few championship sides and hasnt always made their squads so has failed to impress other coaches too. It's a shame as he looked so promising early on.

| Didnt see Mullally leaving but them again when leeds come in with a 3 year deal what can we do?
he lives in headingley and has previous for showing no loyalty to clubs, left widnes after they sent him to Australia as part of his development and now us but he may be fed up with not getting enough game time, but now he is a regular.
oh well good luck to him
