It's such a difficult one as we are, of course, all heavily influenced by how much any change would impact on ourselves. Neither Friday's or Sunday's are a problem for me but purely for personal preference I prefer Friday kick offs.

My concern is the club only appear to have surveyed one group - the existing fans - and what it needed to do was consult with a number of groups. For example, not only those who already go to games but those who used to go and have stopped (someone mentioned ex-season ticket holders would be a great place to start) and those that are fans but have never been regular attendees.

I would have liked to see Fridays tried as I think we need to try something but I'm not sure the club gave itself the best chance of making an educated decision on this.

Having said that, my main concern about Friday games is that it is clear that there is already a generation of fans missing from our games but the crowds on a Sunday show that this may not be a problem with the next generation as there are a lot of kids that attend with their families and this may very well stop if Friday games are preferred. We have to be very careful that in addressing the problems of todays crowds we don't hurt ourselves in the longer term.

I never understood why people disliked the 5.30 sunday kick offs. It was early enough for kids to attend. It was late enough for shop workers to finish work and get there. It gave people whose other half wasn't interested opportunity to spend whole day with family and still get to the game. There'd even be a night time atmosphere early and late in the season. Always seemed like the best solution to me.

think the 5.30's were just an experiment for the summer games weren't they? to be honest i didn't mind them either.

5.30 was ok IMO for the reasons given, families could even have Sunday dinner then go to the game

They weren't popular for the staff working these game though!

Can always replace staff if they're not happy though, fans not so easily !

As an Walk up fan who can't come to Sunday games, Bring it to Fridays please. I want to watch the Giants more! It's also a good that they have had a poll (which not everyone knew about) but as a club they must do what's best in there eyes and having the poll to start with must of made them think twice about keeping the Sunday games

Don't think it would harm to trial Friday games, say 5-6 home games during the summer or something next year just to see what the response would be.

Here's an idea - if we're gonna be playing the 'big sides', a la Wigan, Saints, Leeds on a Friday or Thursday night, then why doesn't the club get there first and leave the other sides who perhaps won't have the benefit of big away crowds to Sundays. We haven't played Wigan on a Sunday since 09 IIRC, since 2012 for Leeds I think - why don't we structure it like this;

Friday Night 7 - all games that would have decent away support no matter what, and this would have an appointment to view for the bigger home games, the biggest change would be moving to Thursday Night, which might affect us once, maximum twice, based on the record we've had since their introduction. The aim would be to sell tickets for these games really early with Groupon deals, special offers and the like.

Sunday Afternoon 3, Featherstone, Leigh, Doncaster, Challenge Cup Games (When not on Television) - have a few Cheaper tickets for away fans and home fans alike, and hopefully these games won't be moved. Obviously, the Easter Week games will have to be different, but where available, these games should be on Sunday afternoons, which suits older people and a subsection of the fans and families.

Think splitting the day would affect ST sales-

Moving games all the time affects ST sales.

But games aren't moved "all the time". We have had 3 home games moved due to TV this year. The other two games were moved for other reasons. We have had fewer home televised games this year than we have had since 2007. In the last 7 seasons we have played at least 8 games on a Sunday every season. Clearly that is not a reason for poor ticket sales.

PS In the last 3 years we have had 5 games moved to a Friday for television, 5 out of 39 games. Not a huge amount is it.

But due to the big fuss people make the perception is it's a lot more.
