Came to your place to watch the Wire game this season. Parked our car next to Scott and Simon's mum and dad. Walked to the ground with them, and asked them who they would be supporting, dad replied that they always support whoever gets them free tickets!
On the day, Scott had a shocker, and Simon was fantastic. Different player tonight though was Scott, and fully deserved MOM.

Hopefully this performance will give the guy a massive confidence boost too....his reaction to the ovation he got at the end of the game was one of almost surprise, guess he's not used to a whole stand stood up applauding him off the field - more of the same please Scotty boy !!

Excellent game from Scott Grix, you could see in the last 20-30 mins of last weeks game that he had got some confidence back and it really showed this week.

I have knocked him in the past when I feel it was deserved criticism, but we ( or most of us ) know he is capable of going from the sublime to ridiculous,
but last night he was exceptional, his best game for us?
certainly shut up a few knockers of which there have been a few lately

I'm surprised there is not more credit given to McGilvray for last night. In my opinion he outplayed Charnley who I rate as the best winger in SL ATM. None of the defensive frailties in evidence. Would love to see his stats.

to be fair its very rare jerry has a bad game, he was dropped a couple of weeks ago but he has shown since he is quality.

Grix stood up to be counted last night and was immense for us. Lets hope he takes that confidence into the rest of the season & playoffs
McGillvary was immense as well last night, sure Charnley scored one hell of a try, but Gerry's contribution to the game was far, far more valuable.
Crabtree, CK and Patrick set the platform though and led from the front. That was some brutal running and defence put in.
