Seriously , I still see Wigan as favourites if they win all their games they will be top, we may even be third just losing to them, and winning our other games.

They play us at their gaff so they have the home advantage, the rugby gods, Phil the wiganer Clarke, Stevo I love Leeds, and Eddie the wire Hemmings in the media, clearly they are favourites for the hub cap, we have it all to do.

IT WOULD BE INTERESTING TO COMPARE ALL SL CLUBS TO SEE THE PERCENTAGE OF SEASON TICKET HOLDERS COMPARED TO THE NUMBER OF 'WALK UPS'. I think thats the killer here we have around 5000 staunch fans (much lower than other clubs) maybe people in Huddersfield can't afford to part with 200 quid for a ST. I doubt many clubs have huge numbers of walk up fans with current prices at around 24 quid!. Its a vicious circle look at Bradfords crowd against Hull last Friday around 7,900 wasnt it? so its affecting all clubs to some degree or another but obviously our situation is worrying. We are simply not sustainable with the crowds we get.

we have never been sustainable ... its upto ken when he decides enough is enough... doubt he will throw in the towel just yet though with all the hard work thats gone it to get to where we are today, its been a long long road and i have been on it all the way and appreciate what i am seeing now

Thats another thing that annoys me too - compared to other clubs and the success they've had either recently or in the not too distant past and our rise up the leagues our crowds aren't actually that bad but no-one ever mentions the fact that other clubs dont get bumper crowds bit cannot wait to have a pop at ours......2,000 less than Bradford who were World champions 6 or 7 years ago but its US with the rubbish crowds ?

Surely success will get us more and better sponsorship deals and that could end up being more important than any possible rise in attendance.

i think us playing in such a big stadium doesnt help with the way it looks either, if 5700 were at cas or wakefield grounds it wouldnt look as bad

Then again doesn't mean you can't achieve something in life, look at Stevo he regularly gets to crow on the TV , talks nonsense for 80 mins, disputes every decision the ref makes and wants to change the rules to agree with whatever nonsense he's just come up with

and he also won a championship medal with a less fancied,poorly supported club, you'd think he was on our side

people on here keep winging about pr the sky team telling the country where top of the league get down and watch a fantastic team what more do you wont as for stevo all year he has been saying where a top team our only problem is we don't have that killer instinct and he is right but he as also said we can win the lot and he would love to see it .

If making comment about an area of the club that badly needs improving is whinging then I am guilty as charged, but I stand by my opinion that we are very weak in the PR department, and they are letting the team and coaching staff down. As for the Sky teams comments - they may be right in what they say with regard to the crowds but they have made a big thing of this for years while not passing comment on other clubs - and surely they are there to promote the game not constantly criticise. I hope we win the hub cap and then GF and prove games are won on the field not in the stands.
