| Credit where it's due, if a player doesnt want to play for the club, they're pretty much shipped out or somethings arranged for them to leave. Why keep anyone who doesn't want to play for you?

| Quote: nathaniel999 "A link has popped up on facebook with giants signing new players.
It says that Stuart Fielden has signed on a 2 year contract
It says Craig Kopczak is more or less signed
Also says that Heath L'estrange and Luke gale are in advanced talks with us
What we all think to these?
Personally Fielden is a gamble but if he stays fit then its a goo signing.
Kopczak will be a good signing
Gale is perfect in partnering brough in the halves and its something we all want
L'estrange is a good player but this will mean lunt is staying at Leeds surely.
So what we all think to these signings?'"
think its garbage... apart form the kopczak deal.

| If Fielden signs it shows he's actually at the club to play and not collect a wage packet as the money Widnes are offering is ridiculous.
Believe it's a similar deal to the one Luke O'Donnell advised to offer to Willie Mason before he took up the massive wages at KR

Have the RFL agreed to transfer Kopczak's registration then? As far as we've been led to believe Bradford still hold his registration.
Gale & Heath have both confirmed they are at Bradford next year via Twitter.

| Since 1995 it has been illegal to withhold transfer of a player registration for players not employed by that club. The latest incarnation of Bradford, the OK Bulls have never employed Craig Kopczak. To refuse transfer the RFL would require actual proof of an illegal approach, even then all they could do is require compensation be paid, but that entitlement would be with the previous Bulls.
If there was an illegal approach, do you really think anyone involved would provide that evidence? I see no reason to doubt Craig Kopczak's version, he didn't want to play for Bradford because of the treatment of people during admin (not just himself), remarkably similar to Bryn Hargreaves reasons for retiring. That said in the parallel universe of Bullmania its all Ken davy's fault.
If you have a problem with Craig Kopczak leaving take it up with Peter hood, chris Caisley and Brenan Guilfoyle.
Oh and I am pleased that Gale and L'estrange ain't coming, Gale is good enough but not really an upgrade, L'Estrange would be a down grade.

| Surely he can still sign a contract with a club, just can't play unless the rfl register him- If bradford refuse to release his registration hence preventing him from fullfilling that contract and hence affect his ability to earn a livelihood I suspect a courtcase will begin. Hope bradford can afford it.
If its found that an illegal approach was made (I'm sure Craig will own up to that -lol) then any compensation will go to pay of the debts of the previous company. This investigation is a joke -it's rfl trying to cover up the fact that they messed up, didnt see the possibility of someone refusing TUPE and didn't confirm the bulls' continuation in SL soon enough.

Have Bradford paid all their creditors who had CONTRACTS with the club? Or are these CONTRACTS not the same as CONTRACTS in the bulls favour?
All seems a little weighted IMO.
Unless the Bulls have drawn up new contracts and made all players sign then I reckon they should all be free agents or they should be liable for all outstanding debts whatever they may be.

This "investigation" *cough* is just the RFL trying to smokescreen the fact that they sold poor old Omar a right lemon.

To be fair their are dozens of precidents in football and to a lesser extend RL and RU so do not think it will take much sorting.

Because IF its found an illegal approach was made the company "fouled" wasn't ok bulls it was against the previous owners.
Ok bulls have never employed kopczak he refused to have his contract transferred under TUPE which he is quite within employment rights to do.
