Why should i form a trust to help run the club. I have been a paying supporter for 25 years. That money goes towards paying the wage of RT (won't be a bad wage either) and others.

And please comment on ALL my points such as long high paid contracts and the departure of brett.

I have nothing personal against RT but inevetibly the book stops with him.

Fresh faces in all departments can only help, because lets face it, things can't get any worse.

Like any responsible CEO - especially with a salary cap - he controls budgets. Ultimately people who understand professional sport ( whatever their number of years watching) know the coach makes decisions on signing personnel.

4 year contracts are often 3 yrs + an option. Often the 4th year swings the deal. Many of our sihgnings have been '4 years' and i am glad the likes of Eorl and Broughy signed them. Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not, this is true of many SL clubs.I have commented elsewhere about brown's role re BH.

Eorl on a 4 year contract, other players on 5 year contracts. All players proven at the club already. Im talking about risking it on big aussie earners.

in recent few weeks we've seen fans say we should have kept A B & C but offloaded D, E & F and maybe G, but not one person questioned any of the decisions in the 1st half of the season.

who is responsible for the training ground problems, players moving from field to field in order to train having to make their own way from pillar to post and ending back on leeds road, not kd who i gather didnt know about these issues and had to be informed by a player, none of this is helping the current situation doesnt seem very professional to me.

The only people who know what is happening at the giants are the players and the committee.I prefer to wait until they decide to tell us just what.We may all be surprised.

I suppose some people - perhaps with a learning difficulty? - are surprised that clubs that have been bigger for decades or that play in a sport with much more money than rugby league have better commercial or training facilities than the Giants. Gee whodathunkit!

In your 30 years of loyal support name the CEO with a better record than RT on:

- On field performance

- Average gates

- Youth development

- Sponsorships

I think the biggest frustration a lot of us have is that we haven't really kicked on as a club in the last 3/4 years. Never mind winning silverware,i mean it has taken us years to become a respected club,we slowly built up to get in the play offs,then in 2009 we got to wembley,was one game away from the GF and looking good at the star of the next 2 seasons. But we have stagnated somewhat,last 2 years we have got into the play offs with little hope of doing anything, our u20's have been poor since that run to the final eliminator,and our crowds are once again in decline.
We had a great chance after wembley to finally cement ourselves as a top team able to compete with the very best but we seem to have missed that chance and have now become mediocre again,who's fault is that? I dont know but i do know that we need everyone, fans included to be pulling in the same direction again

I love it when people talk about the club not kicking on. They obviously have some toytown view of how competitive organisations operate.

Where is this magic formula that guarentees year on year improvement? If our fans have such a formula they will likely be multi millionaires or billionaires...so can that expertise into the club!

In the 9 years since returning to SL we have been in the play offs 5 times and 2 CC finals. Ask HKR / Cas / Widnes / Salford /Crusaders what they would give for that level of performance in the 9 years following promotion! how they would love to stagnate like the Giants.

As for the 20s comp the giants have never valued it and focussed more on the scholarship and 18s. The RFl have now seen that the club were right and they are scrapping the 20s.

Some of our fans want to blame one maybe two individuals for this season. They are lashing out like a schoolchild having a tantrum. they do so with limited information and the benefit of hindsight. they need to grow up.
