Not sure if you heard it being announced before the Widnes game or not. But I'm sure they said something along the lines of he's just had a baby recently and he wants to be closer to family. Wigan also put an offer in for him too.

This is not necessarily bad news. Many people on here have questioned KB and whether he is good enough a question that was again asked after how easy he was bounced off for a Wigan try.

I have heard that Wigan have asked about Brough and we have said he can go for £800,000 if they offer that or close we would be mad not to take it as Brough and Browns wages would replace them with top class players if we get this sort of money

Perhaps Paul Anderson isn't going to overload his teams with pivot players.

There's no way Wigan will pay anything near £800,000. They wouldn't pay half of that, we only got £250,000 for Joel Tomkins who's alot younger and was a natural successor to O'Loughlin as Wigan Captain. I'd imagine asking for similar ie. £250,000 you'd be pushing it.

This is awful news. Once again one if best players and captain lost to another team. If anything will unsettle the team it is this. Kev is a great player and our leader, senior man sold, best be some positive news on the horizon regarding new signings because Lunt and then brown in exchange for a bit of cash does nothing at all for me!

So he signs a contract extension to 2015 just under 2 years ago - what is the point of a contract again???
