Works with Anderson on a daily basis, probably every minute of the day. I assume they are good friends by now.

| Were the one year deals browns choice or thewlis'? Im willing to bet there is a clause allowing him to take an aussie job. No big players are ooc - Anderson needs to ensure fairbank and Eden sign. I wonder if the billy slater comment was to help Eden make the choice to switch to saints- Wellens is getting on a bit.....

Contracts are worth nothing these day jools. I just hope thewlis is nailing down those 2 to long term deals tho so we can get some cash like we did for griffin

| I wish all the fifth columnist negativity posters would leave NB alone.
Can't a man repeatedly change his mind , flip flop, promise one thing and do another without the usual suspects going on a witch hunt?

| Quote: COCKNEY GIANT "I feel a bit angry with Nathan brown - lost a bit of respect for him in way. Every year he has disrupted the giants camp by claiming he will be going home. Yet he has now signed a 3 year deal with saints. He has a fantastic squad with lots of British talent and has got us in the top 4 over the past few years, plus challenge cup final. Why sign a 3 year deal with saints when he could of committed with us for another few years. We now have a unproven British coach taking charge of a us next year. This is not a dig at Paul Anderson but if I had a chance of Nathan brown or Anderson I know who I would choose.
Gutted, vexed off. Yet again Nathan has disrupted the camp and not only that we now going to have the constant rumours of players going to follow him to saints.'"
think im with you
id prefer nathan brown to be at the giants for another 3 years rather than go to a rival
but that would mean we lose anderson....but he is unproven.
regarding taking players with him i doubt this will happen...its abit like when tony smith went to the rhinos...nobody went with him and he said he wouldnt seek too either.
anycase saints have loads of talented players and youngsters, brown working with youngsters = brilliant news for saints.

Oh come on - this is just not about a man being unemployed. He has had the opportunity to stay in employment for another 3 years. He choose to leave the giants but signs a 3 year deal elsewhere.

To be fair looking at our players in 2003 who Would have got into that Leeds side?
But if you are comparing our players now lots of our players could easily fit into any team now - especially Saints

Thinking the same thing....I'm still married after 9 years - I wanted out after 1. For those of you who know my wife please don't tell her that

| Well, at present Saints are in the hands of totally unproven coaches. Rush only had one season as Daniel Anderson's assistant, back in about 2007 I think, and developing young players is a different ballgame to coaching a first grade team. Cunningham hasn't even got his coaching badges yet. We have a kind of coaching collective with the senior players helping our coaches out. Ridiculous really. At least you have notice of what is coming and your assistant has had a good period to learn and grow.
I'm not convinced by Brown myself, not least because he's changed his mind more than his socks about whether to stay in this country or not. That he is now staying suggests we offered him good money and I'm sure he'll be off should an NRL contract come up.

| I'm a bit surprised by the positiveness coming from you guys, can't say i'd feel the same way if it happened at FC . I think the guy is a bit of a sheister to say that he wanted out, to go home like he repeatedly has only to sign a three year deal with a rival, and a rival that lets be honest is currently behind the giants in a lot of ways! I just don't understand why someone would put there all into something to then walk away when they should be reaping the benefits of their hard labour???

| I am with cockney Giant. Even though I am grateful for what he has done for the club. He has also caused alot of disruption. I feel he has used us to get a "bigger" club. Would he still be here now had his house not under not burnt to the ground?
At this moment in time there is not much between us and saints performance wise. So the only reason he would go is money. With regards to his friendship with baloo im sure he won't let that get in the way of business and he will take who he wants.
I said it a few weeks ago on here and I'll say it again now. Let him go now and let Baloo take us on from here.
Thanks for unsettling us again Brown.
