Injured? is it me or does these things rarely hit the media anymore. No mention in both RL papers, Examiner (apart from Wednesdays issue), and. Normally they tell you what injurys teams have on sky sports/bbc preview to matchs when announcing squad. Anyone got info if he really is injured or is it a cover story?

Suspect he is injured now as you cannot make up medical operations etc , but I know he was fit when not selected against saints. Suspect there is a bit more to this than meets the eye , but bottom line is that we are better squad with mase in it.

He brings muscle and experience and we are a bit short of both at the moment.
With all the young lads around At the moment, when stuff starts going wrong we will need our experienced players to help mentor and lead the young uns.

Id say the new guys have done a fantastic job, and will bring the enthusiasm only a fresh young palyer can bring to a side but lack the experience and size you talk of. However I'd bet they give less penalties away than Mason so it's really 6 of 1 and half a dozen of the other.

mason hurt his knee in the pre season friendly at wigan.... never really cleared up even though he played at london... so the op was needed

Following him on twitter it would appear to me to be a mixture on the injury perhaps and being preoccupied with the loss of a good friend. So perhaps hes had his mind on more important things and had time off. To be spreading rumours at this time about the guy is a bit out of order, whatever has happened.

Nathan Brown on radio Leeds this morning saying that Mason had undergone a slight medical procedure thats kept him out of action for a couple of weeks.

Well most of what appears on here is rumour or conjecture I knew a while ago that we were nowhere near with Gareth Ellis because of money Hulls offer was by far the largest along with Leeds ours was not hence despite press coverage we were never anywhere near !

Regarding an injury list it would be great for us as fans to know what is going on with our players but isn't this something the opposition coacrh could use against us? The extent of masons injury was uncertain at first with him being put with the reserves if this was made public and he came back early a massive target would be on him! Not saying a coach would tell thier players to go out to hit the injury but perhaps shake him up and gete him second guessing himself!

Just herd is partner has gone in to Labour so he might be missing more games.

Why would that mean he misses games? Kevin, robbo and Joe didn't miss any when they became dads.
