Hey mangy, instead of boring us with your observations why don't you e-mail the club office with your ideas on how they can improve on an already expanding supporter base albiet without significant silverware for decades. You could even jump on the bandwagon when we do eventually win something, that'll increase the crowd. Alternatively, you could just pop round to the Giants changing room after the 1/4 final and tell the players that the club 'don't deserve any success'.

I didnt say you dont deserve success, I am questioning your very poor support. If you average 7000 at home, why cant 3000 of them make the 30 minute trip to castleford to see them play, the match is not on TV.
Look at Castleford a population of 35000, they average 7000 that is 20% of the population. Dont say there is nothing else todo, there is Xscape and freeport which attract over a million people a year.

well if you actually look into it abit further....
giants average home gate for 2000 was - 3391
Current so far 2011 - 7830
rome wasnt built in a day but looking at those stats you cant complain on that kind of an increase over 10 seasons...
as for castleford well 2000 average - 7980
current - 7295
hmmm not much improvement there over 10 seasons....... infact its getting worse just like your current form on the slide  |
