37 games is a tad more than reserve grader. Like all Giants players he will have to earn his spot.

| judging by the side picked for the Saints friendly i would imagine that barring injury or a really bad performance by anyone then the senior seventeen picked for this game will be the seventeen that plays the first game. That would give a team of
Grix
Mcgillivary
Cudjoe
Lawrence
Hodgson
Brown
Brough
Mason
Lunt
Griffin
Gilmour
Faalogo
O Donnell
Crabtreee
Patrick
Faiumu
Horne

At the risk of 'nit picking' I would see someone playing 8/9 games as a fringe player (like McGilvray for us in 2010) rather than a reserve grader (like J Griffin for us in 2010).

presume you are on about wardle when you say hes played for his county.. scotland that would be NL1 level then

nah was on about Mcnally who has played for his country and is highly thought of TBH, why bother signing these kids if we are never gonna play em or give em exposure to SL?

ah right mcnally for ireland then...still NL 1 level that not sl level
he hasnt done anything for the first few seasons with us to be honest, playing reserves and not that great when ive seen him up at laund hill. then played well at oldham but that NL2, but admit he was impressive at wakey...maybe its because his contract is up this year
so you would rather see mcnally at full back for the wire game instead of grix then ? i dont think you can put any of the latest crop of youngsters in the first 17 for the first game vs warrington. if the seniors dont perform then yes they can have the chance.
i think the kids have to earn the right to play and coach brown does give them there chance if they are ready or up to it.
for example... cudjoe, lawrence, patrick, lunt, macgillvary who have done the above
next in line poss are wardle, johnson, cording, wood , carlile

| Nope wouldn't have McNally at fullback instead of Grix that's why my fullback was Grix and McNally was on the bench.
Sam Tomkins hadn't played super league before he got a shot in the Wigan 1st team, same goes for Joel and looks like his younger brother may join em this season.
My point is we have had McNally for 3 years now and his contract up soon, might be worth playing him don't ya think?

| I would imagine he plays this season or goes back to NL1.
To be fair he seems to have done well at full back particularly on attack. My concern is that when it comes to tackling he has seemed a bit lightweight. that may be more a mental thing than physical particularly if you compare him to Sam Tomkins.
he will probably get a crack this season and i hope he makes it.

| NO. I was going down the line that if Grix continues as he is playing, McNally won't get a look in.

Just to quote myself to clear things up, Grix was a starter for me, just had McNally on bench
