Memories stirred here. Hoghton Road,where so many Fartowners turned up Mick Murphy manned a gate and was collecting money to help us all get in in time.
And did any one else see the subs all fall on the floor at Harvey Haddon when 1 of them stood up and the bench---- It really WAS just a bench was too heavy at the other end and it tipped up. Best entertainment of the afternoon. The match was way too one sided.

I remember the Hoghton road match too - in those days we had 50+% of just about every crowd, oh how times change
The 82-0 ? at Harvey Haddon, i seem to remember one of our more intoxicated supporters running round the track/velodrome round the pitch at half time and falling flat on his face |
