Hey, we have a Superleague table and a Fairplay table. Maybe there should be an Injury table as well? Then again perhaps not. I could envisage some teams feigning injury just to win the league

Don't forget that the Dragons that you thrashed last night were missing NINE players! So far this season we have had more than 12 injured, but last night was nine in one match.

We're in a similar position then.

We've had a player go off with a serious injury in every game bar one. To say nothing of the players who were in rehab at the start of the season.

Even last night Crabtree hobbled off.

Yeah, but our injuries don't count because Stevo and Eddie don't know about them. Or the Beeb come to think of it.

Fair play to the Dragons. They were well beaten but came out for the second half determined to give it a go. No lack of commitment there even if they are suffering injuries. And just in case anybody didn't hear Eddie the first 42 times he mentioned it when we beat London the other week. London have loads of injuries you know?

So go on, who are we missing at the moment, or as of the Catalans game?

Mason ain't in the Salford 19 neither.

Says that he is, on the Giants' website!

20 players in the Giants 19 on the official website (says Crabtree out but then lists him in the squad). 18 players in the Giants 19 listed on the Superleague website, forgot to put Mason on.

Looks like it will be lucky dip for the team tomorrow. Maybe they will choose the starting 17 by doing ip, dip, dip, my blue ship......

I suspect Mason is in the 19 as the official site says Brett and Crabtree are excluded from the 19 but 20 players are listed which includes Eorl, so they've forgotten to remove him meaning Mason is likely to be in the 19.

presuming the squad numbers were the the preferred team etc it is interesting to see that against catalans the 17 squad members were

out of the 1-17 we only had 12,13,14 and 17 missing .number.. 17 is kirmond no longer with us, that only leaves 3 players of out "expected" strting 17 not playing and one of those spots was filled by brough,

is our injury crisis that bad when we are only missing a couple of the "expected" squad members?

I think that the original comments were aimed at commentators that other teams were suffering injury crises yet our injuries were never mentioned.

Whilst we have had a number of players injured and being hampered with losing players in games our strength in depth has masked that. Of those that are out injured only Wild would have been in the starting 17. Fa'alogo i believe is ready to come back. Drew is two weeks away but i am not sure where he will play.

Now our players are coming back we will be able to see what NB's first 17 will look like and we can start to develop the plays that will hopefully take us forward.
