Go on then, i'll bite. I thought you were very good. Saints looked to be on the slide last year and this season would have been hoping to see off a poor ( based on last year) Hull side for a first game. What they came across was totally different. Hull played with passion and skill and next week should be cracker. I just hope your as wary of us as we will be of you. Great game in prospect. As a fellow Yorkshireman I hope you keep it going, just not against us.  |

Not at all guys. You played well but come on, have you ever seen the scousers make so many unforced errors? Maybe Hull have found their ideal playing conditions. I hear they've ordered 1000 smoke machines to be delivered on Friday dinner time |

Have to be honest I'm really looking forward to this one. I honestly believe we could be 2 of the serious contenders this season, both clubs appear to have assembled very good squads with planty of pace and size throughout. And some great individuals. You're a club on the rise and so are we (hopefully) so silverware this season should be a realistic goal. See you Friday.

My retinas have just about recovered from watching the game on Saturday night. Not sure how anyone can comment on anything other than the score. Saints looked to spill more ball and there was some good attacks from deep by Hull.
Some good signings for Hull and a decent result has left McNamara as clear favourite for the chop first this season. Maybe McDermott is up there now but prolly be in contention for Bradford job if McNamara went.
