Black Backgrounds/Fran Sinclair.gif COME ON U GIANTS!!!!!!!!:Black Backgrounds/Fran Sinclair.gif |
|
| not sure what to predict really but here are a few predictions from me
Bradford - expect a better season from the bulls this time around, they have got rid of the deadwood in deacon, newton and jefferies and added some quality to the halves with a new prop. it all depends on how the mac can do, good bet for the challenge cup
Cas - in many ways i think they possibly over-achieved last season and kept a couple of good teams out of the play-offs. i dont think they will have much of an impact on superleague this season though, they can pick up a few wins at home but i dont think cas can make the play-offs this season and i dont expect much of a cup run either!
Catalan - a funny team but some very good individual players, a good season from catalan for me and can make the top 8 with ease
Crusaders - i think will pick up a few more wins this season but nothing much expected in either competition
Giants - i believe have the quality to finish in the top 4 again, a very good coach and a big 33 man squad could see the giants well into the play-offs at the end of the season, the big question is are they good enough to go one step further and win a trophy??
Quins - tend to start well and fade away, i think it could be the same old story. dont expect much of an impact from the quins but could snatch the last play-off place if they make home form count for something!
Hull FC - a much improved Hull FC side i think this time, added some very good and very experienced players to the squad, looking forward to see how they improve but i think a top 6 finish for the black and whites
Hull KR - another good season for the robins, a good coach and a hard working team, home form will see them well and as well as making the play offs they are a good one off bet for the challenge cup i think
Leeds - i think have shot past saints in the last few seasons and i expect them to continue their dominance of the superleague, also my tip for the challenge cup this year
Salford - can see salford struggling to pick up wins this season, bottom 2
Saints - i think will struggle a bit more than last season but will still be in the mix for the top 4, i think mick potter is a good bet for the first coach to get the sack
Wakey - the whipping boys, i think they have a squad full of players that nobody else wanted, the only good thing for wakey at the moment is i believe they have a very good coach in kear, can he turn an average squad into a good team? i think bottom 3
Warrington - need to make a statement in superleague, a very good squad and a very good coach but it never seems to happen for them. i think they will kick on next season and possibly make the top 4
Wigan - i dont expect much from wigan this season, paper thin squad and aswell as the coach the only addidtion to the squad is deacon whom i called deadwood in the bradford bit, i dont think they can cover injuries and suspensions so wigan may struggle to make the top 8!
