About time all this Fartown was dropped.

Fartown was not just a stadium. Fartown was, and still is, a place.

Been watching Fartown since I was a nipper over 50yrs ago, I've always called them Fartown, I still do and by habit I probably always will, what's wrong with that ????

Nowt, as long as you keep supporting them you can call them what you like. Fartown has grown on me now and I also use it, but I would say I use Giants equally.

'Can't help falling in love' is the anthem, we just need to make sure we use it alot more than we do, I know they play it on the tannoy's from time to time too.

Just don't seem very manly to be singing it at a rugby match IMO. It's a bit..you know...a bit sap.

And singing about blowing bubbles is hunky, I suppose?

My point is Fartown is the past and the club should look forward.

People don't like change, fair enough but you can't hold on to the past forever.

Let's forget the historical importance of this club, Birthplace of Rugby League, St George Hotel, forget it chuck out the old and bring in the new, just like the throw away society we live in

Fartown will only die out when the generations who were brought up on the old terraces at Fartown depart this mortal coil.
Giants is purely a merchandising feature.
Fartown is the history of the club let us not forget.

It will never die out as long as there is a club in Huddersfield. The younger fans learn about our history from the existing fans and are already chanting the name at every game.
