Woke up this morning.
Brekkie - check
Cup of tea - check
Read newspaper - check
Felt ashamed for calling Thaler "cheat" last night ? - nope. I feel mighty fine.

Huddersfield Giants - "We know our place": |

It wasn't harsh at all. It was a clear yellow card.
And for what? A brain fart.

| We would not have been close to the Castleford score last night if it hadn't have been for Danny Brough's creativity! It was great to see Murphy pass out to Mamo to score but everything else comes from Broughy's brain. It was obvious why we lost the game - Smith drops the ball, TRY to Cas. Wakeman drops the ball, TRY to Cas. Simple mistakes cost us the game again. Let's hope they continue to play with the same spirit and the wins will follow.

yeh two very costly errors there indeed
cut out those and we would be winning! but hard to have a perfect performance
getting there now though...taken a while! need to keep on this track now

| As a neutral, the Webster sin bin was incorrect. Fair one on one ball strip. Brough was reckless at best, yellow card and possible ban was correct. Hudds had enough chances to win the game earlier and bombed them. Loss was not the refs faults but Hudds inability to capitalise on opportunities. See you in the mid 8s.
Add insult to injury, our average gate in the championship with nearly zero away support is about 1.5k more than you had last night.
Brough is looking like a player that WANTS to get sacked. Hudds would be better off if they actually did, and freed up a large chunk of salary cap to boot.

He wants to get sacked?! And a sin binning for a dangerous tackle is the way to achieve this in his mind, it is planned that way?! Brilliant theory. Get a grip.
Ps thanks for the crowd info, and your advice on how our club should proceed. Enjoy your trip to Batley with your big impressive following.

| Not sure what people have been watching but how many good games has Brough had this year? Leeds he was class but before that can't really say he has been playing as the highest earner on the team should, he bollox the youngsters and not in a encouraging way but then makes a cock up himself and seems like he is untouchable, he is 34 now and in the past has been a great player but he is struggling now and spends more time in stand than playing. With a sensible head on and been honest to ourselves its time to get shut, free up some cap space along with the Brierley money and build a team around team players not 1 individual that wants to do it all, facts are Ellis was great at Cas, came to Giants and couldnt have same impact alongside Brough but running things at Hull KR, same with Brierley was stifled at Giants, if someone offered to swap Brough with George Williams I would snap their hand off!!!! Prob 5-6 of the experienced lads I would keep and rest haven't done enough

Get real. George Williams is one of the best young prospects in the game who any side would buy if they could but why would Wigan sell. There a very few decent halves around that would be available to buy and certain none as good as Brough is even at this stage of his career. Without Brough i fear relegation would become a reality.
As for Ellis he is playing in a dominant team in a lower league so is bound to look good. He was not great at Cas he was used as a interchange hooker playing limited minutes and neither was he great at the Giants. He is a solid player but certainly not good enough to move the club forward.

| There comes a time with every player when you have to move on and I believe that time is coming. I think he plays on the edge all the time now , like the rest of us frustrated that we had a good side , now are average at best and are in rebuild phase. The problem is we need him to have a chance of safety in the middle 8s last year his kick saved us , Stone needs to cut a deal with him , give us rest of season help us stay up and if he wants to go then let him. He has been a great player for us , maybe the best we may ever see but you can't run a team around 1 aging player for evermore he will be v tough to replace that's for sure!

| Two game ban received. Pleaded not guilty to both charges, found guilty but grade C charge downgraded to grade B. Received one game for each charge. So will be missing for magic game and Wakefield.
